Training device to enhance swing lag
11794085 · 2023-10-24 · ·

A swing lag training device having a latching mechanism for reversible attachment to a shaft near a golf club head; a means for allowing a connection point to rotate relative to the attached latching mechanism; an arm band for attachment above an elbow of an arm of a user; a spooling device attached to the arm band with a cord that connects the spooling device to an connection point near the golf club head; the spooling device adapted to: 1) retract cord into the spooling device during a back swing; and 2) provide a set of audible sounds as cord is unwound as the golf club head is moved in a forward swing so that a user can train to concentrate the set of audible sounds in a late portion of in the forward swing and thus maintain swing lag during an early portion of the forward swing.

ELECTRONIC TRACKING SYSTEM WITH HEADS UP DISPLAY
20230364488 · 2023-11-16 · ·

Electronic tracking systems are disclosed for assisting users with locating objects in a sporting environment. One such system includes a ball tracking component that tracks a game ball while moving in the sporting environment, and a heads up display that is worn by the user. This heads up display has an electronic display screen with a transparent display area that dynamically displays images within the user's field of view. A processor, which communicates with the ball tracking component and heads up display, is programmed to detect movement of the game ball, and responsively determine launch characteristics and/or flight characteristics of the moving game ball. The heads up display displays the launch/flight characteristics contemporaneous with an object indication adjacent to or superimposed over the moving game ball as the game ball is visible through the transparent display area of the display screen within the user's field of view.

Hat having head up prevention function
11805835 · 2023-11-07 ·

The present invention provides a hat which can prevent a golfer's head-up occurring in an actual swing during swing practice or a golf round, and can prevent surroundings causing a hindrance to the swing from coming into the golfer's view so as to enable the golfer to stably swing, so that the golfer can accurately hit a golf ball and increase a driving distance, and can have an excellent shot feeling. The present invention comprises: a holding hole formed in a brim protruding forward from and connected to the cap of a hat; and a gaze-holding member which is fitted in the holding hole, so as to allow the direction of a user's gaze to coincide with a ball and thus enable the user to perform a follow-through action while gazing at the ball until the moment of impact.

Alignment aid

An alignment aid includes a joint section, at least one central section connected to the joint section, at least one central section being hollow and defining at least one linear channel, at least one rider arranged within the at least one linear channel, each rider connected to an attachment mechanism.

GOLF SWING TRAINING DEVICE
20230356055 · 2023-11-09 ·

A golf swing training device can be easily worn by a user, without requiring any special connection mechanism or clothing item, to provide adjustably positionable sights that assist users in improving their golf swing. One goal of the training device is to keep the golfer’s vision focused on the ball while taking the swing and minimize head movement, especially during the backswing. When the correct focus is established, the swing will follow, therefore enhancing muscle memory to improve the user’s swing consistency. A pair of focusing rings may be flexibly connected to a mounting system. The focusing rings can be positioned to help the golfer focus on the ball while taking their swing, especially while putting. The mounting system can secure the focusing rings in the desired position during use, while being comfortable to wear.

WEARABLE TRAINING APPARATUS, A TRAINING SYSTEM AND A TRAINING METHOD THEREOF
20230338816 · 2023-10-26 ·

A wearable training apparatus has a vision-control assembly for engaging a user's face about the user's eyes. The vision-control assembly has a see-through area about the user's eyes and an opaque area surrounding the see-through area at least on a temporal side and an inferior side thereof. The opaque area is for substantially blocking at least major portions of the natural monocular vision-areas of a natural field of vision (FOV) of the user's eyes, said natural monocular vision-areas being peripheral to a natural binocular vision-area on respectively temporal sides. The see-through area is for forming a reduced FOV about a gaze direction. The reduced FOV has a span encompassing at least a major portion of the natural binocular vision-area of the natural FOV of the user's eyes about the gaze direction thereof, said natural binocular vision-area being at an angular center of the natural FOV.

Apparatus, systems, and methods for gathering and processing biometric and biomechanical data

Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for measuring and analyzing movements of a body and for communicating information related to such body movements over a network. In certain embodiments, a system gathers biometric and biomechanical data relating to positions, orientations, and movements of various body parts of a user performed during sports activities, physical rehabilitation, or military or law enforcement activities. The biometric and biomechanical data can be communicated to a local and/or remote interface, which uses digital performance assessment tools to provide a performance evaluation to the user. The performance evaluation may include a graphical representation (e.g., a video), statistical information, and/or a comparison to another user and/or instructor. In some embodiments, the biometric and biomechanical data is communicated wirelessly to one or more devices including a processor, display, and/or data storage medium for further analysis, archiving, and data mining. In some embodiments, the device includes a cellular telephone.

Swing Action Detection Method and Wearable Device
20230372800 · 2023-11-23 ·

A swing action detection method is applied to a wearable device including one or more motion sensors and a sound collector. In the method, the wearable device collects a first sound signal using the sound collector to determine whether a user strikes a ball. After a strike action is determined, an exercise parameter of the user is obtained with reference to first exercise data collected by the wearable device using the one or more motion sensors to monitor the strike action of the user, and effectively assist the user in improving a strike rhythm and strike stability.

Wrist position training device for a sports swing
11826626 · 2023-11-28 ·

A wrist position training device for a sport swing includes one or more wrist wraps to secure a haptic member to the back of a user's wrist and hand. A first end of the haptic member is anchored to the user's forearm. A second end of the haptic member is secured to the back of the user's hand by a finger loop or similar structure so that the haptic member follows the user's hand as the wrist transitions from a neutral position to a flexion position. The haptic member produces a tactile and audible response when transitioning between the neutral and flexion positions. This tactile and audible response signals to the user when their wrist breaks and returns to neutral position.
