Sport apparatus with integrated sensors
A sport apparatus comprising a shaft, wherein the shaft comprises a notch fitting and a sensor housing. The sensor housing comprises an alignment rib fitting, printed circuit board, rechargeable battery, one or more motion sensors, a transceiver, an inductive charging coil, among other necessary elements for the sport apparatus as described herein. A portion of the sensor housing resides within the shaft, wherein the alignment rib of the sensor housing mates with a notch or other locking mechanism of the shaft.
Adjustable laser and sensor paired system for replicating or creating a swing path
An adjustable laser-sensor paired system for creating or replicating a desired swing form includes a laser device and a sensor device. The laser device has a laser which emits a laser beam and a mounting device which attaches the laser device to an object. The orientation of the laser is adjustable. The sensor device has an optical linear position sensor for detecting the laser beam of the laser device and a display with LEDs for providing feedback and user interface. With the system and method, one or more checkpoints for the form of a desired swing can be created at a selected point in the swing path, which may then be used as practice reference guides to check whether the user is correctly replicating the desired swing.
GOLF TRAINING DEVICE AND SYSTEMS THEREOF
A golf stroke training apparatus is disclosed, comprising a light source attached to the chest of the golfer. Light shines towards a visible surface whereby observation of the light provides information about the movement of the chest. It can be deduced how the golfer generates movement of the club, with respect to elements such as rotation around the spine or movement at other joints, such as shoulders or hands. The apparatus can be particularly useful for putting but can also guide thoracic movement in other golf strokes. Optionally, a second device having a light source can be secured in relation to the pelvis of the golfer, for use separately or in concert with the chest mounted device.
GOLF SWING TRAINING APPARATUS
Proposed herein is a golf swing training apparatus for providing sensations of hitting for golf swing practice. The golf swing training apparatus includes: a shaft body formed to a predetermined length, and configured such that a grip and a stopper are formed at both ends thereof, respectively, and a metal region is formed in a part thereof on a grip side thereof; an impact ball coupled to be movable along the longitudinal direction of the shaft body, configured to provide weight for the generation of a sensation of hitting, and provided with a plurality fitting slots; and a plurality of magnets configured to be detachably fitted into one or more of the fitting slots of the impact ball, configured to hold the impact ball to the metal region, and configured to allow the strength of the action of attraction to be adjusted.
Launch monitor
A launch monitor for golf training includes both a continuous wave radar transmitter and a frequency modulated continuous wave radar transmitter. A first set of golf ball trajectory parameters are estimated with the continuous wave radar transmitter and a second, different set of golf ball trajectory parameters are estimated with the frequency modulated continuous wave radar transmitter. The array of transmitters and receivers may be non-uniform.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE ALIGNMENT OF A GOLF CLUB HEAD
A system for adjusting alignment of a golf club head includes a club shaft having a proximal end and an opposing distal end, with a hosel fitting fixedly secured to the distal end of the club shaft. A neck is rotationally coupled to the hosel fitting at a first end and a club head is coupled to the second end of the neck. The hosel fitting includes a reference line and the neck includes a series of angle index lines. The angle of the club face is adjusted by selectively aligning a singled angle index line with the reference line.
PUTTING EXERCISER FOR EVALUATING HITTING SPEED AND TEMPO OF PUTTER
An exerciser includes: sensor installation units provided to be spaced apart from and face each other in a direction parallel; a radiation unit for radiating light, in a first sensor installation unit; a light receiving unit for receiving the light radiated from the radiation unit, in a second sensor installation unit; a speed detection unit for detecting a speed of the golf ball by checking a moment the golf ball passes; a position measurement unit for measuring a position of the golf ball; an operation control unit for performing calculation to detect an initial position value of the golf ball and a moving speed Vb and a moving distance Hb of the golf ball; and a storage unit for storing the measured speed Vb and distance Hb of the golf ball.
Systems and methods for measuring and/or analyzing swing information
In a first aspect, a system for monitoring a swing is provided that includes (1) a swing measurement device adapted to couple to a swinging object and to output a signal indicative of a characteristic of the swinging object; (2) a wireless transmitter coupled to the swing measurement device and adapted to wirelessly transmit the signal output by the swing measurement device; and (3) a wireless device adapted to receive the wirelessly transmitted signal and to provide information regarding the swinging object based on the received signal. The wireless device is a cellular telephone or personal digital assistant (PDA). Numerous other aspects are provided.
Golf club fitting apparatus and method of golf club fitting
A golf club fitting apparatus and a method for fitting using the apparatus are provided. The golf club fitting apparatus may be attached to a golf club and provide fitting information including effective lie angle, effective loft angle, stroke plane, and aiming verification information. That golf club fitting apparatus includes a first opening for receiving a shaft, second openings for receiving a collimated light source, third openings for receiving angle indicators, and a recess for securing the collimated light source in an alternate configuration.
Method for calculating a swing trajectory of a golf club using radar sensing data, a radar sensing device using the same, and a recording medium readable by a computing device recording the method
The present invention provides a method for calculating a swing trajectory of a golf club using radar sensing data capable of calculating a swing trajectory of a golf club therefrom, a radar sensing device using the same, and a recording medium readable by a computing device recording the calculation method, which calculates the position coordinate information of the golf club through the analysis of the radar signal separately from calculating the motion parameters for the ball through the analysis of the radar signal when the golfer hits the ball with the golf club, and effectively calculate the swing trajectory of the golf club from the calculated position coordinate information of the golf club.
