A golf club head with an interchangeable or reversible sole rail system having a rail member configured to be received within one or more channels formed on the club head. The rail system allows the player to employ rails along a surface of the club head to improve the interaction between the club head and the ground during the swing.

Systems and methods for identifying golf equipment. The system may include one or more performance tracking devices, such as an optical sensor system or a radar sensor system for tracking at least one of a golf club swing or a golf ball flight. The system also may include at least one processor and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform a set of operations. The operations include receiving current dynamic input for a golf shot from a golfer and current static input for the golfer. The operations also include executing a trained machine-learning model based on the received current dynamic input and current static input to generate predicted golf club properties and/or predicted golf ball properties for the golfer. The predicted golf club properties and/or predicted golf ball properties are displayed on a connected display.

A golf club fitting apparatus and a method for fitting using the apparatus are provided. The golf club fitting apparatus may be attached to a golf club and provide fitting information including effective lie angle, effective loft angle, stroke plane, and aiming verification information. That golf club fitting apparatus includes a first opening for receiving a shaft, second openings for receiving a collimated light source, third openings for receiving angle indicators, and a recess for securing the collimated light source in an alternate configuration.

A golf putting device includes a ball location for placing the ball, and at least three visual guides around the ball location. The present invention relates to a divot-detecting golf swing mat and, more particularly, to a divot-detecting golf swing mat (100) characterized by comprising: a hitting mat (110) having artificial turf (111) formed on the upper side thereof such that a golf ball (B) can be seated thereon; a divot-detecting sensor array portion (120) installed beneath the hitting mat (110) so as to measure hitting of a club head (H), which is transferred through the hitting mat (110), through sensors arranged in an array type; a control portion (130) for calculating information regarding hitting of the club head (H) sensed by the divot-detecting sensor array portion (120); a golf ball position designating portion (150) installed on a side surface of the rear side of the hitting mat (110) so as to designate the position of the golf ball (B); and a display portion (140) for displaying the information regarding hitting of the club head (H) and the position of the golf ball (B).

Novel tools and techniques for teaching a player the proper alignment when addressing a golf ball.
