METHOD FOR RELIEVING STRESSES BY ROTATION
A method for relieving residual stresses in a part includes increasing the rotation speed, which includes measuring, at a first given instant, values representative of the rotation speed and the radial enlargement; measuring, at a second given instant after the first instant, values representative of the rotation speed and the radial enlargement; determining a leading coefficient of a first affine function from the preceding values; determining a target radial enlargement value as a function of a value representative of the rotation speed, in the form of a second affine function, the origin of which is the value of a desired final residual enlargement and the leading coefficient of which is the leading coefficient of the first affine function; stopping the increase in rotation speed of the part from the moment that the actual enlargement of the rotating part corresponds to the target relative radial enlargement value that has been determined.

Mixed-flow turbine wheel
A mixed-flow turbine wheel includes: a plurality of rotor blades disposed on a circumferential surface of the hub at intervals in a circumferential direction and configured such that each of the plurality of rotor blades has a leading edge which includes, in a meridional view, an oblique edge portion where a distance between the leading edge and an axis of the rotational shaft decreases from a tip side toward a hub side, and a sensor detection surface having a flat shape and being applied with a marking which is detectable by an optical sensor device. The sensor detection surface is formed on at least one of the circumferential surface of the hub or an edge portion of a reference rotor blade being one of the plurality of rotor blades, such that, in the meridional view, a trailing-edge side angle of two angles formed between the axis of the rotational shaft and a normal of the sensor detection surface is smaller than a trailing-edge side angle of two angles formed between the axis of the rotational shaft and a normal of the oblique edge portion.
Balancing ring anti-rotation spacer
A rotating assembly for a gas turbine engine has a balancing ring mounted to a first rotating component having a rotating unbalance about an axis of rotation. The ring is clocked at a circumferential position about the axis to counteract the rotating unbalance. A spacer is axially abutted against the first rotating component to set an axial position of the first rotating component relative to a second rotating component. The balancing ring is locked against rotation relative to the first rotating component in its circumferential position by the dual use spacer.
