Golf practice device
A golf practise mat including a stance section and a ball strike section. The stance section is segmented into a plurality of planar components so that the golf may can be disassembled for shipping and storage. A kit is disclosed including the components and instructions for assembly. A golf practise mat may also have one or more swing training devices for installation of golf training rods.
Swing training device
A swing training apparatus comprising a frame having one or more sections for guiding a swing of a user; a first support member coupled to a side of the frame and suspending the side of the frame above ground; and a second support member coupled to an opposite side of the frame and suspending the opposite side of the frame above ground, and wherein the first support member and the second support member together are operable to suspend the frame above the ground at a predetermined angle.
System and method for providing an improved golf swing
A system and method for improving a golf swing. The system includes a club lie angle calculator, a golf club grabber, and a propeller channel for creating and supporting a swing plane for a user equal to the lie angle of a given golf club.
System and method for monitoring performance characteristics associated with user activities involving swinging instruments
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to various components of a system for monitoring and/or tracking a user's performance during an activity involving an instrument that is swung. Exemplary embodiments can include a sensor module configured to be secured to and/or embedded within the instrument. The sensor module can detect a swing event and/or an impact between the instrument and an object and can generate pressures waves that propagate through air. The pressure waves can include information or represent information about a use of the instrument and can be detected by an electronic device associated with the user, which can display the information, process the information, and/or transmit the information to a remote system. The pressure waves can be modulated to encode information within the pressure waves.
ALIGNMENT AID SYSTEM
The subject invention comprises a system, and method of using the system, for providing improved alignment in multiple settings. Appropriate settings include woodworking, machining, and sports, although there are several other practical applications for this technology. The invention employs one or more alignment stations that have a base plate that anchors into a flat surface, guides that fit into the base plate, a top rotating element that fits onto the base plate secures the first set of guides into place, and a positional lock that locks the rotating element into place relative to the base plate.
Golf swing exercise system and method of use
A golf swing exercise machine allows a player to develop their golf swing by forcing the head of an adapted golf club to follow a preferred wing path. The path is marked by a rail. The rail is held by a rail support that is oriented with respect to the ground by a frame. The frame is made up of a base with side, front and back support members and horizontal supports. The golf club head has slots to allow the head to follow the rail.
Golf practice aid for improving a golfer's putting and short game skills
A golf practice aid (10) for establishing a circular pattern about a golf cup (C) includes a disk (12) sized to fit into the mouth of the cup. Radial lines (24) formed on the disk are evenly spaced about the disk and extend from the center to an outer edge thereof. A cord (16) of a predetermined length is tethered to the disk and is extendible outwardly from the disk to be sequentially drawn along each line, with a a marker (M) placed adjacent the outer end of the cord when the cord is fully extended. By extending the cord successively along each radial line, a circular pattern of a defined radius is formed by the markers placed about the cup, the circular pattern assisting golfers in practicing their putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker pay skills in accordance with a method of the invention.
SWING ANALYSIS DEVICE, SWING ANALYSIS METHOD, AND SWING ANALYSIS SYSTEM
A swing analysis device includes: an acquisition unit (swing video acquisition unit) acquiring a swing video of a user; a processing unit deciding an impact timing and a tempo, based on the swing video; and a display unit displaying the swing video and the tempo. The display unit, while displaying the swing video, displays the tempo when the impact timing is reached in the swing video.
Golf swing training device
A golf swing training device comprises an upwardly extending support to be positioned on the ground in front of a golfer; a visual guide mounted on the support; the visual guide including a golf-ball viewing window through which a golf-ball is viewed by the golfer. The size of the viewing window may be adjustable.
Golf putting aid apparatus
Method and apparatus are disclosed for golf putting aid apparatus. An example golf putting aid includes a base configured to rest on a ground surface. The base has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The example golf putting aid also includes a curved body supported by the base and defining a convex surface that extends in a direction between the first end and the second end of the base. When the base is rested on the ground surface, the convex surface is positioned relative to the ground surface to engage a toe of a putter head of a golf club as a user performs a putting motion to guide the putting motion.
