VALVE DEVICE AND VALVE LID

A valve device includes: a valve box in which an inlet flow passage into which steam flows and an outlet flow passage through which the steam flows are formed, and in which a valve chamber that connects the inlet flow passage and the outlet flow passage is formed; and a plurality of valve bodies configured to regulate a flow rate of the steam flowing through the outlet flow passage by relative movement to the outlet flow passage. The valve box includes a valve box main body in which the inlet flow passage, the outlet flow passage, and an opening portion are formed, a lid portion that is attachable to and detachable from the valve box main body and closes the opening portion, and a cleaning nozzle that is disposed to penetrate through the lid portion and is configured to supply a cleaning liquid into the valve chamber from the outside.

LEVER FOR ADJUSTING AN ADJUSTABLE VANE

The present invention relates to a lever for adjusting an adjustable vane of a turbomachine, wherein the lever has a fulcrum for the rotatable mounting of the lever about an axis of rotation, a first load arm with a first adjusting connection point for at least indirect connection to an adjustable vane and a first force arm with a first actuating connection point for connection to an adjusting device, wherein the lever further has a first strut, which connects the first adjusting connection point and the first actuating connection point to each other and thereby extends in an arc-shaped manner about the axis of rotation.

A solenoid driven actuator system includes a first solenoid having at least one pressure input and a pressure outlet downstream from the at least one pressure input. A second solenoid has at least one pressure input and a pressure outlet downstream from the at least one pressure input. A transfer solenoid operatively coupled to the first and second solenoids. An actuator valve operatively coupled to a pressure outlet of the transfer solenoid.

Gas turbine engine actuation device

A gas turbine engine actuation system includes a gas turbine engine, an actuation device, an actuator, and a power source. The gas turbine engine includes a compressor section, a combustion section, a turbine section, and a rotating shaft. The actuation device is operable with the compressor section, combustion section, turbine section, or a combination thereof. The actuator is operationally coupled to the actuation device and includes an electric actuator configured to convert electrical current into mechanical power. The power source is configured to supply electrical current to the actuator, alone or in tandem with a hydraulic actuator.

Gas turbine engine actuation device

A gas turbine engine actuation system includes a gas turbine engine, an actuation device, an actuator, and a power source. The gas turbine engine includes a compressor section, a combustion section, a turbine section, and a rotating shaft. The actuation device is operable with the compressor section, combustion section, turbine section, or a combination thereof. The actuator is operationally coupled to the actuation device and includes an electric actuator configured to convert electrical current into mechanical power. The power source is configured to supply electrical current to the actuator, alone or in tandem with a hydraulic actuator.

STEAM TURBINE

A steam turbine includes an outer casing (19) that is provided with a first steam outlet port (54), through which exhaust steam flowing through the entire length of a flow path (21) defined between an inner casing main body (45) and an outer casing main body (51) in a direction along an axis (O.sub.1) is discharged to the outside of the outer casing (19), and a second steam outlet port (55), which is provided in the outer casing main body (51) and through which the exhaust steam passing through a portion of the flow path (21) or the exhaust steam not passing through the flow path (21) is discharged to the outside of the outer casing (19); a first valve (28) that adjusts opening of the first steam outlet port (54); and a second valve (32) that adjusts opening of the second steam outlet port (55).

ADAPTABLE FLOW CONTROL FOR ENGINE NACELLES

An inlet flow distortion control system employs a plurality of flow control devices forming at least one array integrated into an internal surface of the inlet. The at least one array extends over an azimuthal range relative to a normal flow axis of the inlet and has a plurality of circumferential rows spaced at increasing distance from a highlight of the inlet. A control system is operably connected to the flow control devices and adapted to activate flow control devices in selected subarrays of the array responsive to a predetermined flight condition.

ADAPTABLE FLOW CONTROL FOR ENGINE NACELLES

An inlet flow distortion control system employs a plurality of flow control devices forming at least one array integrated into an internal surface of the inlet. The at least one array extends over an azimuthal range relative to a normal flow axis of the inlet and has a plurality of circumferential rows spaced at increasing distance from a highlight of the inlet. STEAM TURBINE PLANT AND METHOD FOR CLEANING SAME

This steam turbine plant comprises: a boiler; a steam turbine; a condenser; a condensate pump; a main steam line that is capable of guiding, to the steam turbine, steam generated in the boiler; a bypass line that is branched from the main steam line and is connected to the condenser; a condensate line that is capable of guiding, to the condensate pump, water in the condenser; a condensate outlet valve that is provided in the condensate line; a water supply line that is capable of guiding, to the boiler, water having a pressure which has been increased in the condensate pump; a first connection unit that is, in the condensate line, branched from a position which is closer to the condenser than the condensate outlet valve is; and a second connection unit that is, in the condensate line, branched from a position which is closer to the condensate pump than the condensate outlet valve is. The first connection unit has a first connection seating that is connectable with a first line. The second connection unit has a second connection seating that is connectable with a second line.
