The apparatus includes a strip made of a flexible material and a carrier unit configured to detachably couple with the strip, the carrier unit having a first wall around which the strip is wound for storage, the first wall defining a cavity that is configured to hold a ball.

Herein disclosed is a mobile golf simulation system, more particularly, a double-bayed golf simulator apparatus mounted to a wheeled trailer that may be readily transported and deployed to remote, particularly outdoor locations. The mobile golf simulation system of the present invention is uniquely designed to include a projection system installed beneath a floating floor that, along with right and left drop-down walls, allows for the creation of an open air platform from which a user may play a realistic form of virtual golf, hitting his ball into a built-in screen.

A golf training device comprising a base platform and a golf-ball platform that are interconnected with a telescoping, extendable rail. The base platform provides an area on which a golfer assumes a stance when addressing a golf ball. The rail is constructed with a rigid but pliable material that twists and contorts when a golfer is standing on the base platform. Therefore, the golfer must remain completely balanced while addressing the ball and swinging the club to prevent the platform from wobbling uncontrollably. The base platform is mounted on a turntable that allows a golfer to rotate the base platform between a first orientation where balance must be maintained in a direction parallel to the shoulders and a second orientation where balance must be maintained in a direction perpendicular to the shoulders.

A golf swing analyzer system for analyzing a golfer's golf swing. An inertial measurement unit (IMU) may be used to capture data regarding the swing. The IMU may be oriented along a hosel-axis and a face-axis to reduce the complexity of calculations to determine the path of the swing. Two IMUs may be used to permit correction of captured data, different orientations of the IMUs to increase accuracy of captured data, and a doubling of the captured data. The IMU may include a magnetometer that cooperates with a magnet that is adapted to indicate the time at or near impact of the head of the golf club with the golf ball. An LED system provides visual information to a user regarding the swing while the swing is being made.

A compression golf swing training apparatus includes a hitting board mounted atop a framework and configured to move downwardly at the point of impact from the golf club striking the hitting board during a golf swing. Specifically, the downward motion of the hitting board, when struck with a golf club, compresses the compression springs in their holder imitating or replicating the feeling a golfer experiences when taking a divot of golf course grass during a golf swing. The system is reconfigurable and interchangeable with distinct compression spring levels held in their individual spring holders replicating and/or imitating the resistance of the ground the golfer experiences playing on hard, soft, and wet golf course grass conditions.
