Method for installing a gas turbine assembly on a foundation, and gas turbine assembly
A method for installing a gas turbine assembly of a first type at a position of an existing power plant where previously a gas turbine assembly of a second type was installed on a foundation specially designed for said second type. The gas turbine assembly includes at least one housing, a compressor, a combustion chamber, a gas turbine, and a plurality of venting and removal lines guided along the exterior of the housing. Modifications to the venting and/or removal lines of the gas turbine assembly of the first type are carried out in a first step, and the modified gas turbine assembly is installed on the existing foundation in a second step.
BOSS THERMAL WASHER
Systems and methods for thermal washers are described herein. A thermal washer may comprise a first metallic plate having a first inner surface and a first outer surface, a second metallic plate having a second inner surface and a second outer surface, the second metallic plate being oriented substantially parallel to the first metallic plate such that the first inner surface and the second inner surface are separated by a gap, and a thermal wool in contact with the first inner surface and the second inner surface, the thermal wool filling a void between the first inner surface and the second inner surface. A width of the thermal wool may be substantially equal to a width of the first metallic plate and a length of the thermal wool may be substantially equal to a length of the first metallic plate.
BOSS THERMAL SEAL
Systems and methods for thermal seals are described herein. A thermal seal may comprise a first metallic plate having a first inner surface and a first outer surface, a second metallic plate having a second inner surface and a second outer surface, the second metallic plate being oriented substantially parallel to the first metallic plate such that the first inner surface and the second inner surface are separated by a gap, and a thermal wool having a plate portion in contact with the first inner surface and the second inner surface, the plate portion filling a void between the first inner surface and the second inner surface, and having a shoulder portion extending from a perimeter of the plate portion, the shoulder portion extending outward from between the first metallic plate and the second metallic plate.
MOBILE MACHINE TOOL AND METHOD FOR SEGMENTALLY MACHINING A COMPONENT
A mobile machine tool for segmentally machining, in situ, a component, in particular a component of a turbine, which is rotatable about an axis of rotation. The machine tool has a main body, a support element which is held on the main body so as to be movable about a C-axis along a circular-arc-shaped guide path, and a tool module which is held on the support element and is designed to receive a tool. The tool module is located on the support element so as to be linearly movable. A method segmentally machines, in-situ, a component which is mounted in a stationary body so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation.
ROTOR WITH A BALANCING FLANGE, ROTOR ASSEMBLY WITH AT LEAST ONE ROTOR, AND TURBOMACHINE WITH AT LEAST ONE ROTOR OR WITH A ROTOR ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a rotor for integration in a turbomachine, with a rotor base body, wherein, on the rotor base body in a rotor outer space of the rotor, at least one blade element or airfoil is mounted, wherein the rotor base body extends in an axial direction of the rotor and comprises a connecting section, which extends in an axial direction of the rotor for connection to at least one further rotor and separates the rotor outer space from a rotor inner space of the rotor, wherein the connecting section comprises, in the axial direction, at a front side, preferably in the axial direction at a downstream-lying front side, a balancing flange, wherein the balancing flange is configured for compensating an imbalance of the rotor and extends in the radial direction in the rotor outer space, at least in sections.
ORC turbine and generator, and method of making a turbine
A turbine and a turbine-generator device for use in electricity generation. The turbine has a universal design and so may be relatively easily modified for use in connection with generators having a rated power output in the range of 50 KW to 5 MW. Such modifications are achieved, in part, through use of a modular turbine cartridge built up of discrete rotor and stator plates sized for the desired application with turbine brush seals chosen to accommodate radial rotor movements from the supported generator. The cartridge may be installed and removed from the turbine relatively easily for maintenance or rebuilding. The rotor housing is designed to be relatively easily machined to dimensions that meet desired operating parameters.
Turbine exhaust structure of particular design
A turbine exhaust structure for an intermediate-pressure exhaust end of a high-and-intermediate-pressure (HIP) module.
Housing arrangement for a turbomachine as well as turbomachine arrangement having such a housing arrangement and method for manufacturing the housing arrangement
The present invention relates to a housing arrangement for a turbomachine, comprising a support element, which is configured to bear a shaft, and a housing, which is centered at the support element. The housing is composed of an inner housing and an outer housing fastened at the support element, the housings being connected to each other by at least one connecting strut. A press fit is provided between the support element and the inner housing, in order to center the inner housing at the support element.
MOUNTING OF A SEALING RING ON AN AERONAUTICAL TURBINE ENGINE
The invention proposes an aeronautical turbine engine assembly comprising an upstream casing (55) to which guide blading (48a) is fastened, and a downstream casing (58) to which a sealing element (62) provided with an abradable material for rotor blading is fastened. This assembly further comprises a shroud ring (66) placed between the upstream casing and the downstream casing and fastening means (68) for detachably fastening the shroud ring. In order to be fastened to the upstream casing, the guide blading (48a) of the turbine engine is mounted on a downstream hook (480b) of the upstream casing, without being hooked onto the shroud ring (66), and the downstream casing (58) has an upstream hook with which the sealing element (62) is engaged in order to be fastened to the downstream casing, or the shroud ring has an upstream hook on which the sealing element (62) is mounted so as to be fastened to the downstream casing.
OUTSIDE FIT FLANGE FOR AIRCRAFT ENGINE
A component of an aircraft engine includes an annular flange disposed about a radially outer surface of the component. the annular flange includes an annular wall extending radially outwardly from the radially outer surface of the component. The annular wall includes radially-extending supports circumferentially spaced apart and extending radially between the radially outer surface of the component and a circumferentially uninterrupted radially outer rim of the annular wall. The annular wall includes one or more arcuate cutouts defined circumferentially between adjacent radially-extending supports and radially inwards of the radially outer rim of the annular wall. The radially-extending supports include fastener openings defined axially therethrough. A spigot extends axially from the radially outer rim of the annular wall and circumferentially about an entire circumference of the radially outer rim of the annular wall.
