Erosion Resistant Composition and Method of Making Same
An erosion resistant composition includes a granular material and a wax including oil in which a weight percent of the oil in the wax is between 0.01-15%. The granular material includes a sand and has a first resistance to flow prior to being coated with the wax. The wax at least partially coats a portion of the granular material to form the erosion resistant composition which has a second resistance to flow after coating that is greater than the first resistance to flow prior to coating. The erosion resistant composition may be used, for example, in golf course bunkers or other landscaping applications. Related methods of making the erosion resistant composition are also described in which the granular material is dried, the wax is heated, and the granular material is blended with the melted wax.
LED screen for use in interactive golf driving ranges
An LED screen for use in interactive golf driving ranges is disclosed. In an embodiment, a system includes a plurality of enclosures each housing LED nodes, where the plurality of enclosures is arranged in a plurality of rows to form an LED screen. The system also includes a coupler configured to couple a first one of the plurality of enclosures to a second one of the plurality of enclosures. The system also includes an LED processor configured to control each of the nodes via the coupler to display media on the LED screen.
A GOLF TEACHING SET IN THE FORM OF A SUBCONSCIOUS HABIT
The golf teaching set in the form of a subconscious habit based on established experience contains a special golf training club no. 0, a swing trainer for learning the position of the striking area at the moment of impact and training golf balls. Training golf club no. 0 has zero loft and the plane of the striking area is reflected in the club's grip. The swing trainer serves to develop the ability to perceive the position of the striking area at the moment of impact. It is used together with training club no. 0, where a pupil tries to achieve clean contact, i.e. under an angle of 0, between the striking area and the area of the flexible panel.
GOLF COURSE BUNKER
The present invention concerns a golf course bunker and a method of constructing a golf course bunker using concrete modified soil (CMS) as a backfill material to secure the bunker faade tiles into place.
Surface system and method of installation
Provided is a surfacing system, such as an artificial turf system. The surfacing system includes a base member formed from a plurality of interconnected tile members. The base member is configured to accept a suitable amount of infill material. A covering layer such as an artificial turf layer is applied over the infilled base member and secured to a flexible outer border member. Also provided is a method of installing the surfacing system.

Mixed-reality golf tracking and simulation
A mixed-reality golf simulation system includes a ball-tracking sub-system to generate ball-tracking data when a golf ball is hit by a user, a near-eye display, a storage device to store images of a hole of a golf course associated with location coordinates of a plurality of locations along the hole, and a controller. The controller may direct the near-eye display to display a mixed-reality environment from the perspective of a location on the hole based on images associated with the location, receive ball-tracking data including a landing location of a ball hit by the user, alert the user if the landing location is a target pin, and direct the near-eye display to display a mixed-reality environment from the perspective of the landing location based on images associated with the landing location if the landing location is not the target pin.
Golf game system
A golf game system comprising: a golf simulator, the golf simulator comprising a plurality of virtual tee boxes adjacent to or on a virtual fairway; an outdoor shortened golf hole programmed into the golf simulator located on or near the outdoor shortened golf hole, the outdoor golf hole comprising: fairway landing area; rough landing areas; an approach area adjacent to the fairway landing area; a green adjacent to the approach area; a cup in the green; a plurality of mats located on the landing areas; where the golf simulator is configured to allow a player simulate a drive of a golf ball out of a simulated tee box onto the landing area, and the golf simulator calculates where on the landing area the ball should be placed after the drive, and the golf simulator informs the player where to place the ball on the landing area. A golf game system that assigns a precisely matched tee locations based on golfer swing data and is not limited to a select number of predetermined tee boxes. A golf system that allows a player to play the golf course with modified golf ball speed, golf ball side spin and golf swing path to better match a golfer's skill level to the golf course being played on and/or a golfer's playing partners.

GOLF PUTTING GAME AND ASSOCIATED SCORING METHODS
A golf putting game includes at least one putting green defining a putting surface and a plurality of putting cups disposed within the putting surface at a different location on the putting green. Each putting cup has an exterior housing and an interior core disposed within and removably attached to the exterior housing. The interior core is removable from the exterior housing with the putting cup disposed within the putting surface of the putting green. The interior core of each putting cup may be illuminated by a visible light having a predetermined color and each putting cup may be assigned a predetermined number of base points corresponding to the predetermined color. A player score may be determined from a number of putting strokes made by a player to putt a putting ball into the putting cup and the predetermined number of base points assigned to the putting cup.
