AUTOMATIC BALL DELIVERY AND SWING CONDITIONING DEVICE
An automatic launching assembly that delivers balls vertically from the ground upwards to a user. The user may take swings at the vertically-launched balls and deliver the balls into a catching assembly. The catching assembly intercepts the balls and directs the balls to a return ramp and a ball sequencer. The ball sequencing mechanism aligns the balls into a single-file line and returns each ball back to the launching mechanism.
Stable pivotal tilt adjustment for a projectile expelling apparatus with a launch tube
An enhanced projectile expelling apparatus provides stability and versatility expelling projectiles at various speeds and trajectories. The projectile expelling apparatus has a rotational expelling housing supported by a supporting stand that is adjustable into innumerable configurations by rotating a launch tube and/or tilting a feeder elbow disposed to abut the launch tube in rotational engagement. A rotational connector assembly facilitated the rotation of the launch tube, and a rearwardly-disposed pivot adjustment assembly facilitates the tilting of the feeder elbow. A speed-controlled motor rotates a drive wheel that imparts speed and spin to the projectiles. Depending upon the rotation of the launch tube, tilt of the feeder tube, and rotational speed of the drive wheel, the projectile expelling apparatus expels projectiles in various straight, curving, rising, dropping, and sliding trajectories.
Continuous ball feed and stroke practice device
A ground based launching assembly for feeding balls vertically upwards to a user. The user may takes strokes at fed balls, thereby delivering the balls towards a catching assembly. The catching assembly receives the balls and gently returns the ball back to the launching assembly. Disposed between the catching assembly and the launching assembly is a return ramp and a ball sequencer. These require no more than ten feet in length. Such a device may be readily used in a single car garage or other small room.
System and method adapted to enable simultaneous play of one or more sports games in the same facility with automated ball delivery, tracking and collection
The present invention comprises a unique system and method for providing adaptable ball delivery and tracking, including appropriate sensor hardware, interactive gameplay user interfaces and point of sales systems. The system and method of the present invention are especially relevant to baseball and softball as, among other components, the system comprises a vertical, ground-up soft toss ball delivery mechanism, automated player and ball-tracking devices, and ball-collection and transport systems. The ball collection and return components eliminate the need for fielders and enable the creation of the first batting range. The vertical, ground-up soft-toss pitch machine further enables the first multi-story batting facility with player batting bays that open onto a sports field. Further, certain embodiments of the present invention integrate hitting screens, augmented reality display and simultaneous coordination of gameplay and communication between players, regardless of the players' physical location.
Turning device for a ball launcher
A ball launcher turning device external to the ball launcher comprises a base, a platform movably connected to said base and externally securable to the ball launcher, and a turning mechanism housed within the turning device that is configured to cause the platform and the ball launcher to undergo angular displacement relative to the base, in response to a force transmitted to the turning mechanism by a controlled force generator, to facilitate propulsion of balls ejected from the ball launcher in varying directions.
NOVEL SYSTEM AND METHOD ADAPTED TO ENABLE SIMULTANEOUS PLAY OF ONE OR MORE SPORTS GAMES IN THE SAME FACILITY WITH AUTOMATED BALL DELIVERY, TRACKING AND COLLECTION
The present invention comprises a unique system and method for providing adaptable ball delivery and tracking, including appropriate sensor hardware, interactive gameplay user interfaces and point of sales systems. Golf practice device
A golf practice device of the type having an inclined ramp on which to place a golf ball to determine its roll for the purpose of measuring the speed of a green; the device (1) comprises: a straight main body (2) provided with a first pair of rails (20) for rolling the ball; a base body (3), provided with a second pair of rails (30) for rolling the ball and hinged to the main body (2) so as to vary its configuration with respect to the latter.
Pitching machine and batting bay systems
A ball pitching device including a launching surface for receiving balls, the launching surface being configured to receive and hold a ball in the launching position prior to the ball being launched, a launching system including at least one impulse mechanism configured to impact the ball in the launching position, and one or more control components configured to control at least one of a pitch power and a pitch trajectory of the ball launched from the launching position.
Flex grip sports ball pitching machine tip
A unique configuration is introduced herein for providing a ball machine pitching tip. A linear actuator is coupled to the disclosed ball tip herein having at least one member protruding outwardly from a base and radially positioned about a coupling aperture. Positioned selected frictional contact points configured to an inner surface of the at least one protruding member enables an imbalance of torque on the object as released from the gripping tip from a velocity provided by the linear accelerator. The result is the ability to provide a variety of flight patterns (spins) of a ball for a given sport.
