Delivery system for targeted launching of sports projectile
A sports projectile delivery system may control the operation of a launcher to cause an American football or other sports projectile to be delivered to a target location on a field. In some aspects, the system can track player movements on the field, e.g., through the use of a tracking device mounted on the player, enabling the ball etc. to be launched to a player in anticipation of where the player will go. The system may include additional customization and/or logging options, e.g., permitting a player to designate a body position (e.g., above the head or near the knees) for delivery of the ball, designate a speed or hang time for delivery, or provide player data and analytics to an online or otherwise connected database.
ADAPTIVE TENNIS BALL MACHINE
A smart ball-machine uses artificial intelligence to train a player or to play with a player. For example, the ball-machine can adjust the tennis ball speed, topspin, bounce according to the player's successful ball return rate. The ball-machine can be preconfigured with a profile of a player. For example, the ball-machine may download a complete profile of a tennis player from a game recording, or may download a file with a customized profile of a player to train a player using the ball-machine. The ball-machine is equipped with a plurality of wheels, motors, and shafts to provide a fully customizable launch of one or more balls. For example, the ball can be launched from the machine from one side of a tennis court to another side of a tennis court with a variety of speeds, trajectories, topspin, bounce etc.
MACHINE FOR LAUNCHING BALLS
A frame is provided with at least two holes (12, 15) to fasten electrical and/or electronic devices. The frame includes a single body having fastening means to be fastened on at least one flush-mounted box (21), and that includes a first part incorporating a hole (12) intended to be fastened on a flush-mounted box (21) by fastening means adapted to fasten the frame (1) on the flush-mounted box (21) and a second part incorporating a hole (15) that is not associated to a flush-mounted box (21). The frame (1), at least on the part incorporating the hole (15) that is not associated to a box (21) shows at least a separator element (16) supporting the frame (1) on the wall on which it is to be installed. The separator element (16) is constituted by the frame (1) itself folded creating a flap or rim, the separator element (16) spanning on the whole or part of the perimeter of the frame (1).
Training device for ball sports
A training device for ball sports comprises a launching structure comprising an aperture sized and shaped to allow balls to pass linearly through the aperture along the central axis of the aperture, and a launching means configured to contact a ball within the aperture at a plurality of contact locations spaced around the surface of the ball, and to drive the ball through the aperture, and; a supporting means configured to support the launching structure above a surface; the launching structure and supporting means configured such that in use the launching structure can be rotated about the central axis to alter the position of the contact locations.
SOCCER TRAINING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A soccer training device and system includes a generally horizontal and planar platform and at least one sloped soccer ball collection trough provided generally around a perimeter of the platform. A segmented cage is provided generally at and around outer bounds of, and vertically above, the platform. At least one sensored gate includes at least one soccer ball impact curtain provided above the at least one soccer ball collection trough to direct soccer balls into the trough, and at least one arrangement of sensors to sense presence of the soccer balls that are impacting the at least one curtain. A ball thrower sequentially receives the soccer balls from the silo, to sequentially deliver the soccer balls to a player on the platform. A control panel and a control box control operation of the soccer training device and system.
PET EXERCISE AND ENTERTAINMENT DEVICE
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems, apparatuses, and methods for exercising and entertaining a pet. In one implementation, a pet exercise and entertainment device includes a launch funnel for launching projectiles for a pet to retrieve. The launch funnel has a feeder and a chute. The feeder is configured to receive a projectile and transport the projectile to an intake end of the chute. A sensor is configured to sense the projectile in the intake end of the chute and to command one or more motors to power up in response to sensing the projectile. An actuator is configured to release the projectile from the intake end of the chute into the launch end of the chute after a pre-determined time has elapsed. One or more wheels, rotated by the one or more motors, are configured to launch the projectile from the launch end of the chute.
Screen baseball system, hole opening and closing apparatus and ball pitching apparatus utilized thereby, and method for controlling pitching of screen baseball system
A screen baseball system includes: a screen portion arranged in front of a batter's box and having a pitching hole allowing a pitched ball to pass therethrough; a ball pitching device arranged behind the screen portion to pitch a ball toward the batter's box through the pitching hole; and a hole opening/closing device configured to operate to close the pitching hole when the ball pitching device does not pitch the ball and to open the pitching hole when the ball pitching device pitches the ball.
POSITION ADJUSTING DEVICE, SHOOTING GAME DEVICE USING THE SAME AND SHOOTING METHOD THEREOF
A position adjusting device includes a first support member, a mounting seat disposed on the first support member and including a receiving seat and a pivot shaft disposed in the receiving seat, and a second support member carried by the receiving seat.
Oval football receiving and launching machine and method
What is provided is a football catching and throwing machine and method that includes an inclined upwardly angled path. The machine includes a collector configured to receive a football thrown into it; a ball translator configured to align the football and transport the football up the inclined path to a football accelerator that launches the football into the air; and a motor that operates the football accelerator.
PITCHING MACHINE AND METHODS OF USE
Improved pitching machines capable of providing accurate, repeatable, and various pitches for training or simulation purposes (e.g., batting and catching). The pitching machine of the present invention may be operable to deliver pitches that each have a different predetermined trajectory, location, velocity (speed to target), and rotational velocity with repeatable precision and accuracy. Additionally, the pitching machine may be programmable and capable of simulating a pitch sequence, as thrown by a pitcher in a game situation, which provides a novel and effective tool for training batters.
