Energy Efficiency Indicator in a Treadmill
An exercise device includes a frame and an exercise deck. The exercise deck includes a platform, a first pulley connected to a front portion of the platform, a second pulley connected to a rear portion of the platform, and a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley. The exercise device also includes a motor in mechanical communication with at least one of the first pulley and the second pulley to drive the tread belt and an energy efficiency indicator that actives in response to determining that a power load needed to operate the exercise device is below a predetermined energy efficient threshold during a performance of an exercise.
Lighted Pace Feature in a Treadmill
A treadmill includes an exercise deck. The exercise deck includes a platform, a first pulley attached to the platform in a front portion, a second pulley attached to the platform in a second portion, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, and a pacing mechanism incorporated into the platform.
Locking device for recumbent stepper
A locking device for an exercise system may include at least one moveable assembly that is in communication with a resistance mechanism. The locking device has an actuating device for selectively engaging the locking device, a locking member having a contact portion, wherein the contact portion of the locking member is not in contact with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system when the actuating device is in a first position, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly, and wherein the contact portion of the locking member is in contact with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system when the actuating device is in a second position, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.
Exercise Machine
There is described a parallel bar exerciser suitable for simulating a horizontal ladder comprising a plurality of hand-bars; each hand bar being linked to a drive member said drive member being operably linked to a drive means.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BODY WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM
A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operatively coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.
Adjustable resistance and braking system for exercise equipment
An adjustable resistance system for use with an indoor cycle comprising a magnetic resistance assembly, a friction brake assembly, and a resistance adjustment assembly.
PROGRESSIVE STRENGTH BASELINE
Controlling weight during a movement includes receiving a set of parameters comprising a nominal weight. It further includes detecting speed during a concentric phase. It further includes progressively adjusting weight during the concentric phase based on the detected speed and the nominal weight.
BARBELL SPOTTING APPARATUS
Provided herein are embodiments of a barbell spotting apparatus having all the benefits of a free-floating, unconstrained barbell in both the horizontal and vertical axes with the safety of a dedicated spotting mechanism, while addressing safety, noise, and space concerns raised by typical barbell apparatus. The embodiments herein permit a loaded barbell to be positioned in line with the axis of motion of the lift to be performed at both the beginning and end of the lift.
DYNAMIC STRENGTH LOADING PER MOVEMENT
Dynamic strength loading per movement includes determining progress within a given state of an exercise. It further includes controlling, as a function of the progress within the given state of the exercise, a force generated by a motor of an exercise machine.
TREADMILL
The resent disclosure provides a treadmill, including a chassis, stand columns mounted at both sides of the chassis, a deck rotatably mounted on the chassis and configured to rotate relative to the chassis to a longitudinal direction or a horizontal direction, a handrail assembly rotatably mounted on the stand columns and configured to rotate relative to the stand columns to a folded state or an unfolded state, and a controller configured to control rotation of the deck and the handrail assembly. The controller is configured to control the deck to rotate to the longitudinal direction when the controller controls the handrail assembly to rotate relative to the stand columns to be in the folded state, and control the handrail assembly to rotate relative to the stand columns to be in the unfolded state when the controller controls the deck to rotate from the longitudinal direction to the horizontal direction.
