MULTI-PURPOSE ADJUSTABLE-INCLINE CLIMBING WALL

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. Further, by providing a plurality of attachment points between the actuator and the frame (and/or between the actuator and a support), the adjustable-incline climbing wall may be provided with a wider range of incline angles, as well as increased control over those angles.

That is, the disclosed adapter may comprise a ball joint coupled between a base and a pad support of the football sled, and the ball joint may facilitate multi-directional movement of the pad, which is mounted to the pad support, relative to the base. The adapter may also comprise a biasing member coupled to the ball joint that is configured to bias the ball joint toward a non-deflected position (e.g., a standard, at rest position).

The football sled may be configured to be pushed from a front side of the football sled parallel to an impact axis extending through a front surface of the pad support.

A pedal assembly for electromechanical exercise or rehabilitation of a user is disclosed and can include pedals to engage appendages of a user. A spindle supports each pedal and has a spindle axis. A pedal arm assembly is located between the spindle and a rotational axle of the equipment. The pedal arm assembly is radially offset from the spindle axis to define a range of radial adjustability for the pedal relative to the rotational axle. The pedal arm assembly can include an electrically-actuated coupling assembly to adjust the radial position of the pedal in response to a control signal, and regulate motion of the user engaged with the pedals.

Retractable gaff guard

A retractable gaff guard which can be attached to a climber for use in protecting the gaff of a climber. A small retractable reel attached to a gaff guard via a cord woundable in an out of a housing of the reel that can attach on the outside of the leg iron of a climber. The cord is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position. Attached to the cord is a protective body that has a cavity which is dimensioned to receive a gaff of a climber.

The countercurrent swimming system includes the drive motor arranged outside of the housing box and in that the propeller and the drive motor are coupled to one another via a magnetic coupling.
