DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING PRESSURE OF OIL PUMP IN VEHICLE
20210003049 · 2021-01-07 ·

A device for controlling a pressure of an oil pump in a vehicle is provided to. The device includes a sensor that detects an inclination of a vehicle and an oil pump that pumps oil in an oil pan to pressure transfer the oil to an engine of the vehicle. A controller determines an inclination value of the vehicle based on the information from the sensor and adjusts the operating mode of the oil pump to adjust the pressure of the oil supplied to the engine.

Piston cooling jets

An oil spray system for use in an engine for spraying directly onto a piston or cylinder wall, includes a supply line having at least one nozzle mounted to the supply line and at least one outlet on the nozzle. The system can include a control device. The control device can be mounted to the supply line. The nozzle and/or outlet is configurable to provide a predetermined spray direction or pattern.

LUBRICATION FEATURE FOR PIN OF TWO STROKE PISTON ASSEMBLY
20190301606 · 2019-10-03 ·

A pin including recesses extending longitudinally between opposite ends, and a piston assembly including the pin, for a two-stroke engine, is provided. The recesses preferably have a radius of curvature less than a radius of curvature of the remaining outer surface of the pin. The pin is rotationally fixed relative to the connecting rod. As the connecting rod swings back and forth during operation, some of the recesses rotate beyond the load bearing region of the pin joint where oil is located, allowing oil to fill the recesses. As the pin swings back, these recesses carrying the oil enter the load bearing region of the pin joint, transferring the oil with them. Preferably, at least one of the recesses aligns with an oil opening in the pin, which aligns with an oil hole in the connecting rod, to receive and distribute oil along the full length of the pin.

Oil jet device

An oil jet device for supplying pressure oil which is supplied from a pressure oil supply source, includes a valve body and a supporting portion. The valve body is molded by cold-forging a metal material and accommodates a valve portion for controlling the supply of the pressure oil from the pressure oil supply source. The supporting portion is molded by cold-forging a metal material, supports the valve body, and has a first principal surface having a flat shape and configured to abut on an attachment target object.

Piston for a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine

A piston for a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine includes a piston head and a piston skirt. The piston head has an encircling ring zone having at least one ring groove for a piston ring and an encircling cooling duct. In this case, the piston further includes at least one first bore starting from the cooling duct, the bore leading from the cooling duct to a bearing location of an upper connecting-rod bearing pin of the piston and opening into the bearing location in the form of a bore opening in order to supply the piston pin with lubricant from the cooling duct.

Device and Method for Lubricating a Connecting Rod Bearing

A device lubricates a connecting rod bearing on a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine. The device has a piston having an internal piston cooling fluid channel, and an outlet channel in fluid communication with the fluid channel. The device has a connecting rod, which is connected to the piston in an articulated, in particular pivotable, manner, and has a large connecting rod eye and a connecting channel. The large connecting rod eye is formed for receiving the connecting rod bearing. The connecting channel forms a fluid connection between the outlet channel and the large connecting rod eye so that a fluid, in particular a cooling lubricating fluid (e.g. oil), can be fed, or is fed, from the fluid channel to the large connecting rod eye via the outlet channel and the connecting channel. The connecting rod bearing can be lubricated by cooling oil from the fluid channel of the piston.

Device For Lubricating A Big-end Bearing

A device lubricates a big-end bearing on a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine. The device includes a piston with a fluid channel and an outlet channel fluidically connected thereto, and a connecting rod. The connecting rod has a small connecting rod eye, a large connecting rod eye and a connecting channel. The small connecting rod eye is fluidically connected to the outlet channel. The connecting channel forms a fluidic connection between the small and large connecting rod eyes so that a cooling lubricant fluid can be supplied from the fluid channel to the large connecting rod eye via the outlet channel, the small connecting rod eye and the connecting channel. In this way, the big-end bearing can be lubricated by cooling oil from the fluid channel of the piston.

TWO-PIECE TYPE OIL JET ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

There is provided a two-piece type oil jet assembly manufactured in such a manner that a nozzle part and a valve part are separated from each other, the nozzle part is changed in accordance with the type of vehicle, the valve part is standardized, and the nozzle and valve parts are combined with each other, thereby providing the effects of reducing manufacturing cost, simplifying a manufacturing process, and ensuring competitiveness in markets.

Lubricating mechanism of pin connection pair of internal combustion engine

A lubricating mechanism of a pin connection pair of an internal combustion engine having a piston, a pin, and a connecting rod. The pin may be mounted in two pin seat portions of the piston such that the pin and one of the two pin seat portions form the pin connection pair. The lubricating mechanism may include a lubricating passage through which a lubricating medium is flowable and an oil outlet orifice communicating with the lubricating passage. The lubricating passage and the oil outlet orifice may be disposed in a piston top portion of the piston. An opening of the oil outlet orifice may face in an axial direction and may be disposed directly below a corresponding portion of the lubricating passage such that the lubricating medium is flowable via the opening directly to a gap defined between the connecting rod and a pin seat portion.
