Spring Enclosed Trampoline
A spring enclosure trampoline includes a trampoline bed connected across a horizontal frame member. The trampoline bed is supported by a plurality of springs. Trampoline legs support the horizontal frame member above a ground surface. A trampoline enclosure supports a trampoline enclosure net from a spring enclosure netting support. The trampoline enclosure surrounds the trampoline bed and the trampoline enclosure is supported on a trampoline pole. The spring enclosure netting support is formed as a leaf spring. The leaf spring is flexible in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction. A leaf spring vertical dimension is greater than the leaf spring horizontal dimension. A horizontal spring constant of the leaf spring, and a vertical spring constant of the leaf spring are different.
System and method for playing a game
An arrangement, a computer system, and/or a method for playing a game include a playing area, a first set of scoring structures arranged at a perimeter of the playing area and that are active throughout the game, and a second set of scoring structures arranged at the perimeter of the playing area and that are active only during penalty periods of the game, where each pair of adjacent ones of structures of the first set is separated by one of the structures of the second set.
Basketball training system
A basketball training system includes a server computer and a basketball training machine. The server computer executes a workout module that manages operation of a graphical user interface that presents a graphical representation of a portion of a basketball court and receives user inputs that define a workout program that includes selected ball delivery locations relative to the visual representation. The basketball training machine receives the workout program and delivers basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.
Trampoline with handrail
A trampoline frame includes a bottom ring frame to couple to a jumping surface, a plurality of legs coupled to the bottom ring, a plurality of curved upright supports coupled to the bottom ring, and a handrail coupled to the upright supports. The curved upright supports attach to and support a flexible wall to form a barrier around at least a portion of the jumping surface. Each of the plurality of legs is curved to place a corresponding foot of the leg outside an external perimeter of the bottom ring frame when connected to the bottom ring frame. Each of the plurality of curved upright supports is curved inward toward a center of the jumping surface to connect to the handrail.
CONTACT SPORTS GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PLAYING
A new game is disclosed, involving unique apparatus and rule set. Two teams compete using fast paced back and forth style game play, on a field divided by five zones requiring different rules to abide by whilst inside the said zone. Teams score by throwing a spherical ball through a basket affixed a top goal post located on both ends of the field protected by guards. The ball is advanced down the field by running with or passing the ball forward, backward or in a lateral manner. Point values differ depending on the zone the shot was attempted in, in this instance the closer the zone the higher the point value. The team without possession of the ball can defend their goal by tackling ball carriers, intercepting/deflecting passes or playing an aggressive style defense. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
TRAMPOLINE
A trampoline having a frame and a jumping mat formed in a single piece from woven elasticated material. The trampoline has a flat base portion lower than the periphery of the jumping mat, and an integral side portion continuous with the base portion around the entire periphery thereof and extending to the periphery of the jumping mat. The jumping mat is connected to the frame by at least two biasing connectors to be supported under tension above ground or floor. The frame may include a first circumextending support coupled to the periphery of the jumping mat by at least one biasing connector to support the periphery of the jumping mat above the ground or floor. A circumextending safety enclosure net has first and second portions extending respectively above and below the level of the first circumextending support. the second portion extending to a second circumextending support forming part of the frame.
Trampoline frame
A trampoline has a horizontal bed frame. A bed is suspended across the horizontal bed frame. The horizontal frame includes a horizontally oriented bed frame for suspending the bed. Frame legs are attached to the horizontal frame for supporting the horizontal frame above a ground surface. An enclosure includes a net suspended from an upper enclosure loop. An enclosure frame includes enclosure poles formed as right oriented spiral section members and left oriented spiral section members preferably made from metal tubing such as steel tubing. The enclosure poles are diagonally oriented. The right oriented spiral section members intersect and are connected to the left oriented spiral section members at intermediate junctions to form X-shaped panels, namely a first X-shaped panel, a second. X-shaped panel and a third. X-shaped panel. At least three panels are used based upon the diameter of the enclosure frame.
XuBall game
A ball game and method of playing a ball game. The ball game includes a spherical, air-filled ball, a first backboard mounted on a first support pole at a predetermined height above a first end of a playing court, the first backboard comprising a pair or first hoops mounted on the first backboard, the pair of first hoops being set apart a predetermined distance from one another, and being angled with respect to a horizontal plane defined by the playing court. The pair of first hoops have a diameter that is larger than the diameter of the spherical, air-filled ball.
Corner support bar (CSB) in a trampoline
Embodiments of the invention provide a plurality of support bars that may be fitted to the corner of a trampoline frame to provide increased stiffness for the trampoline frame. The support bars may be placed over or in the vicinity of the trampoline's legs to create a zone of increased stiffness. The support bars may also serve as an entry point to the trampoline such that the trampoline user need not stand on the trampoline's suspension system (e.g., helical springs) in order to enter the trampoline. The user may be protected from the support bars by the use of an edge pad filled with an energy absorbing material.
Trampolines and connectors for trampolines
Provided herein is a hoop spring assembly for use in a mat connection system of a trampoline, in which the hoop spring assembly includes a pair of hoop portions hingedly connected by a pair of laterally positioned hinge members and a resilient member, such as an elastic band or coil spring, operably connected to each of the hinge members and extending therebetween. Mat connection systems and trampolines including such a hoop spring assembly are also provided.
