VERTICALLY DEPLOYED SPORTS GOAL
A retractable sports goal includes a base housing and a goal frame. The housing includes first and second post sections and a crossbar housing section. The goal frame includes first and second goal posts and a crossbar. The goal frame has a playing position and a retracted position. In the playing position the crossbar is extended vertically away from the crossbar housing section and the first and second goal posts are respectively extended from the first and second goal post housing sections. In the retracted position the crossbar is disposed in the crossbar housing section and the first and second goal posts are respectively disposed in the first and second goal post housing sections. A cover plate includes portions that surround the goal posts. Wheels may be attached to the bottom portions of the goal posts. A counter-weight may be provided to bias the goal frame towards the playing position.
Basketball rim assemblies
Basketball goals may incorporate folding rim assemblies which can be packaged and transported pre-mounted to certain backboard assemblies. Alternately, folding rim assemblies can be sold separately or packaged with a backboard for on-site mounting. Some basketball rim assembles may incorporate a break-away mechanism using a leaf spring. The leaf spring biases the rim bracket and resiliently resists downward pivotal movement of the rim bracket and rim. When the rim is rotated downward under an applied force, the leaf spring is flexed, biasing the rim to return to a static playing position when the force is removed.
PORTABLE FOOTBALL FIELD GOAL POST AND METHODS
The present disclosure provides a portable football field goal post and methods of making and using the same. A portable American football field goal post comprises: a left vertical crossbar, a right vertical crossbar, a top horizontal crossbar, a vertical gooseneck post, and a base.
SELF SUPPORTING AND PORTABLE AERIAL RIGGING STRUCTURE FOR AERIALISTS
Presented is a rigging structure with a mechanical advantage of being lifted and suspended above the ground surface using one or more pulley block and tackle systems and/or winch systems. The rigging structure includes a pivoting head portion, four legs, and four feet. The head portion includes a central shaft held between a pair of holders. Each of the holders includes a pair of legs connecting arms. Each of these legs connecting arms is connected to a first leg section and one or more second leg sections and finally to feet to form the legs. The bottom of the legs or feet is interconnected using metal or non-metal wires for preventing any buckling effect due to load attached to the rigging structure. The bottom of the legs are connected by pulling first pair of legs towards second pair or legs or vice versa using pulley block and tackle system capable of exerting required pull force.
AQUATIC GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD
An aquatic game apparatus and method. The apparatus comprises a water skipping article, comprising a high-density foam material, a top surface having a rounded side profile, a rounded outer perimeter, and a bottom surface. The top surface of the water skipping article comprises a first elliptically extended face, a second elliptically extended face, and a continuous smooth-edged outer perimeter. The apparatus comprises a target, comprising a pop-up board and at least one of a plurality of fillable weight bags coupled to the pop-up board by at least one of a plurality of straps, wherein the fillable bags are configured to stabilize the target on a water surface. The pop-up board of the target comprises an upper surface having a plurality of pocketed nets, and a lower surface having a plurality of integrally formed flotation units, wherein the upper surface is elevated above the lower surface by a support pole.
PLATFORMS PRINCIPALLY FOR USE BY SWIMMERS
