OIL CIRCULATION SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
The oil circulation system of an internal combustion engine comprises: a high temperature side oil circulation path provided with a high temperature side oil pan, a high temperature side part supplied with oil, and a heating part, and circulating oil among these; a low temperature side oil circulation path provided with a low temperature side oil pan and a low temperature side part supplied with oil, and circulating oil between the low temperature side oil pan and the low temperature side part supplied with oil; an oil transport mechanism transporting oil between the low temperature side oil circulation path and the high temperature side oil circulation path; and a control device configured to control transport of oil by the oil transport mechanism while the internal combustion engine is operating.
SMALL AIR-COOLED ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH DRY SUMP LUBRICATION SYSTEM
An engine assembly includes a small air-cooled engine and a dry sump lubrication system including an external oil reservoir, wherein the dry sump lubrication system has an overall oil capacity that provides at least five hundred hours of engine oil life.
GROUNDING STRUCTURE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Provided is a grounding structure for an internal combustion engine, including a resinous body 2 configured to be fastened to an engine body 7 via a bolt 8, an electric component 5 attached to the body 2, and a conductive member 16 provided to electrically connect the electric component 5 to the bolt 8 in order to ground the electric component 5 to the engine body 7.
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An internal combustion engine includes: a case; an oil pan disposed below the case; an oil filter into which oil inside the oil pan flows; and a guide that guides oil flowing out from the oil filter and flowing down along a sidewall surface of the case, the guide projecting such that an end portion of the guide is positioned outside a sidewall surface of the oil pan.
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An internal combustion engine includes: a case; an oil pan disposed below the case; an oil filter into which oil inside the oil pan flows; and a guide that guides oil flowing out from the oil filter and flowing down along a sidewall surface of the case. The guide includes a projection that is provided continuously in a transverse direction in the sidewall surface of the case and extends so as to project outside the case from the sidewall surface, a descending portion that is extended downward from an outer peripheral edge of the projection, and a collecting portion that is positioned in a lower end edge of the descending portion and collects the oil that flows along the sidewall surface of the case downwardly from the projection through the descending portion.
Engine oil supply system
An engine oil supply system may include an oil pan connected with an oil pump at a first side and connected with an oil cooler at a second side, an oil passage through which oil pressurized by the oil pump flows, an oil filter disposed in the oil pan to filter impurities in the oil supplied from the oil pump, and a bypass valve disposed in the oil passage to selectively supply the oil in the oil passage to at least one of the oil cooler and the oil filter.
DEVICE FOR AN ENGINE COMPRISING AN OIL PAN AND A HEAT EXCHANGER
The invention relates to a device (1) for an engine which includes an oil pan (2) made of a plastic material having a hollow shape (21) containing lubricating oil defined by a bottom wall (22), a plurality of side walls (24) and upper edges (25). The oil pan (2) has at least one exchanger surface (30) which comprises means for circulating oil and means for circulating a coolant, and a heat exchanger (4) in which oil and a coolant circulate, comprising a series of plates (41) made of a plastic material welded together two-by-two and welded to the exchanger surface (30).
TANK FOR DRY SUMP LUBRICATION SYSTEM
A tank for a dry sump lubrication system for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The tank includes a body having a first portion, a second portion, and defines an inner chamber. The tank also includes a filter housing integrally formed with the first portion and disposed inside the inner chamber. The filter housing is configured to receive a filter. Further, the body and the filter housing are formed by a blow molding process.
MODULAR TRANSMISSION SIDE COVER ASSEMBLY
A transmission side cover assembly includes a transmission side cover carrying completely there on one or more filters and/or a cooler. Fluid flow channels are formed integrally in the material of the cover and provide fluid flow communication paths to the filters and/or cooler carried by the cover. The filters and/or cooler carried by the cover are accessible externally of the cover, for servicing thereof without removing the cover.
TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER WITH INTERNAL MAGNETS
A transmission oil filter includes a housing having a bottom cover defining a top side, a bottom side, and an inlet. A filter is disposed in the housing to filter contaminates and fines from the oil passing therethrough. One or more magnets is disposed on the top side surrounding the inlet so that oil passes by the one or more magnets when exiting the inlet to remove and trap fines from the passing oil. The bottom side has ridges disposed under the magnets to trap fines flowing under the housing.
