WORK VEHICLE HAVING OIL EQUIPMENT
A work vehicle includes a vehicle body frame supported on a ground surface by wheels, a reinforcing plate provided in the vehicle body frame, an oil equipment using oil, and a drain pan configured to receive and discharge the oil discharged from the oil equipment. The reinforcing plate defines a drain hole extending vertically therethrough. A tilted face is provided in a face of the reinforcing plate. The tilted face extends with a downward inclination from a dropping point on the reinforcing plate for the oil discharged from the drain pan to the drain hole.
POWER SYSTEM
A power system includes: a rotating body; a housing that accommodates the rotating body; and a storage portion that is provided in a bottom of the housing to store a liquid medium. The rotating body is partially located in the storage portion, and an inner surface of the housing includes a protrusion that extends above the rotating body to intersect with a rotation direction of the rotating body.
Crankcase assembly
A crankcase assembly for an engine is provided. The crankcase assembly includes a crankcase comprising a crank sump, the crank sump including a primary sump volume and a secondary sump volume, one or more crankcase oil catchers, the crankcase oil catchers comprising one or more surfaces configured to catch dispersed oil in the crankcase and direct the oil along the surfaces of the crankcase oil catcher away from a crankcase casing wall and towards the crank sump, wherein the crankcase oil catchers are provided above a crankshaft and below an associated piston of the engine, and one or more guides configured to collect oil captured by the crankcase oil catchers and guide the oil to the primary sump volume.
Crankcase oil catcher
A crankcase oil catcher configured for placement above a crankshaft and below a piston is described. In one particular example, the crankcase oil catcher has a contour that catches dispersed oil within the crankcase while directing the oil away from a casing wall and towards a crank sump along the contoured surface of the crankcase oil catcher. Inclusion of an aperture within the surface allows for passage of a connecting rod of the crankshaft while providing for a protruding lip around the perimeter of the aperture that prevents oil on the top surface from falling through the aperture.
ENGINE LUBRICATION STRUCTURE AND MOTORCYCLE
An engine lubrication structure supplies oil stored in an oil pan disposed under a crank case to individual components in the crank case, and includes: a turbocharger which compresses intake air with exhaust gas of an engine; an oil passage which supplies oil to the turbocharger; and an oil return passage which returns oil from the turbocharger to the oil pan, and the crank case is provided with a connection port of the oil return passage, and the connection port is disposed below an oil surface that occurs during operation of the engine and above an oil surface that occurs when a side stand is used.
General-purpose engine
In a general-purpose engine including a cylinder block extending obliquely from one side of a crank case, and a cylinder head connected to an end surface of the cylinder block via a gasket, a unidirectional valve for allowing a flow of a fluid from a crank chamber to a valve operating chamber and blocking a reverse flow of the fluid is installed in an upper oil passage. In a case where lubricant oil reserved in the crank chamber flows into the valve operating chamber via a lower oil passage when the engine inclines such that the inclined cylinder block further slants, positive pressures transmitted from the crank chamber to the valve operating chamber push the oil, which once flows into the valve operating chamber, back to the crank chamber via the lower oil passage.
Engine unit for vehicle
An engine unit for a vehicle includes an engine body, an oil tank, and a power transmission shaft. The engine body includes a cylinder unit and a crankcase. The oil tank is disposed horizontally or substantially horizontally with respect to the engine body. The power transmission shaft includes a crankshaft supported by the crankcase. The power transmission shaft at least partially overlaps with the oil tank in a side view of the engine unit. The power transmission shaft extends from the engine body to a position beyond the oil tank in an axial direction of the crankshaft.
Oil pan assembly
An oil pan assembly and an engine assembly having a vortex generating unit configured to de-aerate entrained oil before reaching the intake pipe is provided. The oil pan assembly includes an inner plate mounted to the oil pan so as to be disposed between the oil pan and a bottom surface of the engine block. The vortex generating unit is disposed on the inner plate and generates a vortex which de-aerates entrained oil.
Oil discharge structure
An apparatus includes a case that stores oil inside, wherein the case includes a drain hole that discharges the oil to an outside, and a tubular portion that protrudes in a direction intersecting a direction of gravity, and the drain hole opens in a direction intersecting the direction of gravity on the tubular portion.
