Exercise apparatus
Four striking panels having wireless sensors are arranged such that at least one striking panel is: in front of an athlete, behind the athlete, to the right of the athlete, and to the left of the athlete. A display is situated in front of the athlete. Randomly, a particular striking panel is presented on the display during an exercise routine. When the athlete strikes the appropriate corresponding panel based on detection of a wireless signal provided by the corresponding wireless sensor, a next randomly selected panel is presented on the display. This continues for a particular number of times or for a particular elapsed period of time. Response time metrics are retained for the routine and provided at the conclusion of routine.
Athletic Training System and Method
An athletic training system has a data recording system and a data engine. The data recording system is configured to record an athletic competition event. The event may have a first team of players competing against a second team of players. The data engine is configured to receive data associated with the recorded athletic competition event. The data engine processes the data and displays the data as a replay of the event in animated form.
CUTBACK TRAINING DEVICE
A training device may include a plurality of elongate shafts and at least one hinge structure interconnecting a pair of elongate shafts of the plurality of elongate shafts. The at least one hinge structure may be configured to allow a user to pivot the pair of elongate shafts relative to each other to select a desired angle between the pair of elongate shafts. In various embodiments, the at least one hinge structure comprises a hinge mechanism configured to be adjustable in discrete angle increments. Generally, the training device may be utilized in multiple configurations and may be adjusted and deployed in multiple different patterns to facilitate variable training exercises
Athletic training system and method
An athletic training system (200) has a data recording system (202) and a data engine (204). The data recording system (202) is configured to record an athletic competition event. The event may have a first team of players competing against a second team of players. The data engine (204) is configured to receive data associated with the recorded athletic competition event. The data engine (204) processes the data and displays the data as a replay of the event in animated form.
Training device
A training device for teaching and practicing ball handling skills for basketball players or persons training for sports, the training device including stanchions positionable on a floor using attachment members, such as suction cups, or a flexible resilient layer. A crossbar extends between the stanchions. Flexible elements can be used to connect the stanchions to the suction cups. The lengths of the stanchions and crossbar can be adjustable to set the height of the crossbar above the floor and the separation of the crossbars. Detents can allow for adjustably fixing the lengths.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for training a sports player
A training apparatus is disclosed that comprises an obstacle member defining a pass-under area for a sports player to pass a sport-projectile through when in use. The training apparatus comprises a first sensor that is configured to detect the sport-projectile passing through the pass-under area, and a controller that is configured to determine a pass-through direction of the sport-projectile that passes through the pass-under area based on data received from the first sensor. The training apparatus also comprises a lighting fixture indicating an instructed pass-through direction for the sports player to pass the sport-projectile through the pass-under area. A system for training a sports player is described that comprises a plurality of training apparatuses that are remotely configurable to define a training drill for a sports player and to collect training data from execution of the training drill. A method for training a sports player is also disclosed.
Collapsible batting cage system
An apparatus comprising a plurality of upright frames to support a batting cage net; and a track system comprising a first track and a second track, the first track to be placed parallel to the second track, the first track and the second track to guide movement of the plurality of upright frames to enable a first configuration for compacted storage and a second configuration for use of the batting cage net.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF TRAINING A SPORTS PLAYER
An apparatus for training a sports player is enclosed. The apparatus may comprise one or more static training aid and/or one or more dynamic training aid. The static training aid and the dynamic training aid each includes a base and a pole vertically extending from the base. The static training aid may also include a light source extending along the pole from a point to a second end of the pole. In some embodiments, the static training aid includes one or more accessory parts. The one or more accessory parts may include a connector transversely connecting two static training aids. The one or more accessory parts may include a stick coupled to the pole of the static training aid. The dynamic training aid may include a first stick pivotally coupled to the pole of the static training aid. The first stick may be configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the pole. Aspects of the invention relate to methods of training a sports player using the static training aid and/or the dynamic training aid.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR PROVIDING AN INTERACTIVE INTELLIGENT SPORTS SYSTEM
An approach for providing real-time feedback during a sports activity (e.g., golf play) based, at least in part, on analysis of sensor information, is disclosed. The approach involves receiving sensor data associated with one or more sensors arranged to track playing technique information of a player engaged in a sports activity. The approach also involves processing the sensor data in real-time to determine the playing technique information. The approach further involves retrieving baseline information for the player. The approach also involves comparing the playing technique information with the baseline information. The approach further involves generating, in real-time with the engagement of the sports activity, an instructional message to modify playing technique of the player based on the comparison. The approach also involves initiating presentation, during the sports activity, of the instructional message to a user interface of a device accessible by the player.
