OIL PAN ASSEMBLY
An oil pan assembly includes a first portion formed of a first plastic, and a second portion formed of a second plastic that differs from the first plastic. The first portion is securely coupled to the second portion. The first plastic may be one of a thermoset or a thermoplastic. The second plastic may be the other of the thermoset or the thermoplastic.
Oil passage structure for internal combustion engine
Cover (25) is mounted on wall surface (12) on the front side of cylinder block (10). Sub gallery (26) through which engine oil flows is formed between cover (25) and wall surface (12). Chain tensioner (17) is mounted on cover (25), and the engine oil in sub gallery (26) is supplied to chain tensioner (17) through oil supply port (31) formed through cover (25).
Oil pan structure
An oil pan structure (1) includes a lower structure (2) fixed to a lower portion of an engine block, a main oil pan (3) provided under an engine block with the lower structure being between the main oil pan and the engine block, a sub oil pan (5) that is provided in the main oil pan (3) and forms a first chamber (6) and a second chamber (7) inside the main oil pan (3). The sub oil pan (5) is separated into an upper body (5a) and a lower body (5b). The upper body (5a) is formed together with the lower structure (2) by injection molding.
Fluid tank
A fluid tank for a motor vehicle comprising a housing, wherein the housing has a housing base, a housing cover and at least one side wall. A through-passage is formed inside the side wall, wherein the through-passage extends from a first opening in the housing base in the direction of the housing cover. The through-passage is in fluidic connection with the interior of the fluid tank via a second opening.
Oil sump, in particular oil filter module, with a multi-part housing
An oil sump for supplying an assembly of a motor vehicle, including: a housing including a housing frame and a closure part, such as for example a housing cover, which is joined to the housing frame; an oil accommodating space enclosed by the housing. The housing frame circumferentially surrounds the oil accommodating space; and a suction channel which extends into the oil accommodating space and includes an opening via which oil can be delivered or suctioned from the oil accommodating space through the suction channel. The suction channel is formed by the housing frame and the closure part.
Oil pan for internal combustion engine
Embodiments are directed toward an engine. In some embodiments, the engine includes a water pump and a balancer shaft. In some embodiments, the water pump has a plain bearing. In some embodiments, plain bearing is supplied with pressurized oil. In some embodiments, the balancer shaft drives the water pump as well as cam shafts.
Lubricant pan and internal combustion engine for a vehicle
A lubricant pan for a vehicle includes a receiving region in which a lubricant is at least temporarily receivable, a first wall element, and a second wall element. A temperature-control channel is disposed between the first wall element and the second wall element and a temperature-control medium is flowable through the temperature-control channel. A core that is porous and permeable to the temperature-control medium is disposed in the temperature-control channel between the first wall element and the second wall element. The temperature-control medium is introducible into the temperature-control channel via a first connector and the temperature-control medium is dischargable from the temperature-control channel via a second connector.
