Device for displaying in response to a sensed motion
A device includes a signaling means and a motion sensor, and logic for activating or controlling the signaling means in response to a sensed motion according to an embedded logic. The device may be used as a toy, and may be shaped like a play ball or as a handheld unit. It may be powered from a battery, either chargeable from an AC power source directly or contactless by using induction or by converting electrical energy from harvested kinetic energy. The embedded logic may activate or control the signaling means, predictably or randomly, in response to sensed acceleration magnitude or direction, such as sensing the crossing of a preset threshold or sensing the peak value. The visual means may be a numeric display for displaying a value associated with the count of the number of times the threshold has been exceeded or the peak magnitude of the acceleration sensed.
Portable outdoor game kit
Disclosed herein is a portable outdoor game kit that includes (a) a portable carrying case; (b) a boundary configured to be positioned on a ground surface and formed into a predetermined shape; (c) a plurality of targets configured to be positioned within the boundary when the boundary is positioned on the ground surface and formed into the predetermined shape; (d) a plurality of offensive implements configured for throwing towards and/or into at least one of the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use; and (e) a plurality of blocking implements configured to block or impede movement of the offensive implements towards the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use. Also disclosed herein is a method of playing a game with the disclosed portable outdoor game kit.
Golf Training Aid and Method
A golf training aid and method that aids the golfer in visualization and provides instant feedback on whether they have achieved proper impact when striking golf balls from a natural grass hitting surface. A golf training aid and method that additionally provides golfers with a template that when balls are struck from a natural grass hitting surface within reasonable accuracy will allow the golfer to achieve proper linear divot row spacing. A golf training aid and method furthermore that has painted or printed lines applied on an artificial golf hitting surface to aid the golfer in visualization of proper golf ball impact, simulating proper golf ball impact on natural grass hitting surfaces.
Overhead bar mount exercise training device
An exercise training device for connection to a laterally extending overhead bar and use in modifying a toes to bar exercise, including at least one bar mounting assembly, an elongated, laterally extending target portion, and a spacer portion connected at a first end to and extending longitudinally away from the at least one bar mounting assembly, and connected at an opposed second end to the elongated, laterally extending target portion. Also disclosed is a method of positioning an exercise training device on a laterally extending overhead bar to modify a toes to bar exercise, including connecting to the laterally extending overhead bar an exercise training device having the aforementioned structure, and adjusting the exercise training device to extend downward and forward from the laterally extending overhead bar.
Overhead bar mount exercise training device
An exercise training device for connection to a laterally extending overhead bar and use in modifying a toes to bar exercise, including at least one bar mounting assembly, an elongated, laterally extending target portion, and a spacer portion connected at a first end to and extending longitudinally away from the at least one bar mounting assembly, and removably connected at an opposed second end to the elongated, laterally extending target portion.
Football training tool
Embodiments of the present invention are related to a football training tool with an angled head, a rectangular frustum body, a pair of upper lateral rails, a pair of bottom lateral rails and a bottom. The upper later rails, defined as arms, include foot angle guides. The football training tool may also include a top alignment notch on its head and a bottom alignment notch on its bottom.
Kettlebell Swing Hat
A kettlebell swing hat may be described herein. The kettlebell swing hat may comprise a beanie cap with two holes at the crown of the beanie cap, a soft round ball with two holes through the soft round ball; and a sting with a first end and a second end. The string secures the soft round ball to the beanie cap by knotting the first end and the second end together. The kettlebell swing hat may assist in correcting the timing of the kettlebell swing. It may give feedback on the proper way to squat/hinge during the swing, and showcase instant feedback on whether or not the individual is generating enough power into the ground to create a safe and effective swing. The kettlebell swing hat may assist in fixing the overall technique and pinpoint any flaws within the exercise.
Golf Club Head with Adjustable Fitting Mechanisms
Embodiments of golf clubs with adjustable loft, lie, head mass and methods of manufacturing golf clubs with adjustable loft, lie, and head mass are generally described herein. Other embodiments can be described and claimed.
Golf putting training aid
A golfing apparatus for assisting a golfer in putting includes a guide member adapted to encourage only certain motions during the golf swing to improve the engagement of ball with club and subsequently improve ball control, trajectory and speed. Further the golfing apparatus includes a movable member configured to slide along a path defined by the guide member and coupled with the putter handle. The guide member is affixed to the waist of a golfer. The guide member is curved to follow a natural rotation of arms and shoulders of the golfer and can be adjusted for proper angle that best fits a golfer's stance and has a second planar back stop surface to further align and control the movement of the putter club head, thereby assisting the golfer in putting.
