A fluid cell for an assembly and for filtering oil includes a fluid cell housing with a housing opening and partly surrounds a housing interior, a housing cover attached releasably to the fluid cell housing for closing the housing opening, and a filter device arranged in the housing interior for filtering the oil, in which a filter element is arranged and which fluidically communicates with a raw oil line for conducting the oil to be filtered into the filter device and with a clean oil line for conducting the filtered oil out of the filter device. An oil reservoir is arranged in the housing interior for storing oil, which fluidically communicates with an oil reservoir line for conducting oil out of the oil reservoir, and a fluid cell valve device for closing and opening the raw oil line, the clean oil line, and the oil reservoir line.

Combination lubricant/filtration device for outboard motors

A combination cooling/filtration device is for cooling and filtering lubricant in an outboard motor. The device includes a body; a lubricant cooler configured to cool the lubricant, the lubricant cooler having an inlet port that receives cooling fluid and an outlet port that discharges the cooling fluid; a filter configured to filter the lubricant; and a lubricant passage extending through the body. The lubricant passage is configured to convey the lubricant from upstream to downstream, and in particular to the lubricant cooler, then to the filter, and then to an engine of the outboard motor. The body is axially elongated from top to bottom, the filter is mounted on the top of the body, and the lubricant cooler is located in the body below the filter.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL OF FLUID OPERATIONS FOR MACHINES

A system. The system includes a power source, a control module of a machine, and a fluid component. The fluid component is configured to establish an electrical connection between the power source and the control module during performance of a fluid operation on the machine when the machine is powered down.

Oil tank filling system

An oil tank filling system for filling the oil tank of a gas turbine engine that includes an aft core cowl. The system includes an oil tank that has an oil tank top and an oil tank bottom and is located within a core of the engine, an oil access port located on the aft core cowl, and an oil tank filling pipe that leads from the oil access port to a tank filling port located at or adjacent the oil tank bottom. The system is configured so that oil that is supplied to the oil access port flows to and into the oil tank using gravitational force. A method of filling the oil tank of a gas turbine engine and a gas turbine engine that includes the oil tank filling system.

An oil change system. The oil change system includes an evacuation system, a refill system, one or more sensors and a control circuit. The evacuation system includes a first quick connect fitting configured to mate with a quick connect valve of a vehicle. The refill system includes a second quick connect fitting configured to mate with the quick connect valve of the vehicle. The control circuit is coupled to the evacuation system, the refill system and the one or more sensors, and is configured to automatically identify the vehicle, determine a type, a viscosity and a volume of oil associated with the vehicle and control a volume of new oil added to the vehicle.

Pumping device

The pumping device includes a barrel, a cover, a pumping mechanism, a positioning ring, and plural posts. The barrel has plural first positioning portions extending upward near a bottom thereof. The cover is disposed on the barrel to selectively close the barrel. The pumping mechanism is disposed on the cover for pumping liquid in the receiving space outward or pumping liquid outside into the receiving space. The positioning ring is detachably combined by two semi-ring bodies and is sleeved onto the cover and the barrel to position the cover on the barrel. The positioning ring has plural second positioning portions. Each of the posts connects the positioning ring and the bottom of the barrel therebetween. Each post is detachably connected to one of the first positioning portions and one of the second positioning portions therebetween so that the two semi-ring bodies are unable to separate freely.

Autonomous oil change

The Autonomous Oil Change System allows a user to arrive at a station and conduct an oil change on their vehicle. They do so by opening the lid/cover located on the front of the car on the machine to process the payment. This permits the user to insert their debit/credit card on the machine to process their payment and to begin the process and receive an oil change in a few minutes with a receipt and a date recommendation for their next oil change. The system then performs the oil change autonomously. A first hose extends from an oil pan of a vehicle to an externally accessible point on the vehicle. A sensor indicates a level of oil and generates a signal for a pump to draw an oil in the oil pan via the hose externally accessible on the vehicle based on the signal from the sensor.

Air-oil separator drain valve and related method of use

A drain valve of an air-oil separator configured to separate oil aerosol from blow-by gas of an internal combustion engine is provided. The drain valve includes a floating plate adapted to close or open depending on oil flow and pressure relative to a drainpipe, and a plug that maintains the floating plate in the drainpipe and provides a flow path for oil in the drainpipe. The plug can serve a secondary function and form part of a seal recess that receives an annular seal member, such as an o-ring, to form a liquid tight seal around the drainpipe when coupled to another engine component to allow transfer of oil through the drainpipe. A related method of use is provided.

Climate-control system having oil cooling control system

A system may include a compressor, a first passageway, a valve and a control module. The compressor includes a compression mechanism operable to compress a working fluid. The first passageway is in fluid communication with an oil sump of the compressor and the compression mechanism. The valve is disposed along the first passageway and movable between an open position allowing lubricant from the oil sump to flow to the compression mechanism and a closed position restricting lubricant from the oil sump from flowing to the compression mechanism. The control module is in communication with the valve and configured to move the valve between the closed position and the open position based on an operating parameter indicative of a temperature of the compression mechanism.
