SYSTEM FOR SENSOR-BASED OBJECTIVE DETERMINATION
The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. An example apparatus includes memory, instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to at least compare time-synchronization data between a first signal and a second signal, the first and second signals received in response to a detected contact between a first participant and a second participant in an event, wherein the first signal is received from a first sensor operably coupled to the first participant, the first sensor to measure at least one first physical parameter of the first participant while the first participant is engaged in the event, and wherein the second signal is received from a second sensor operably coupled to the second participant, the second sensor to measure at least one second physical parameter of the second participant while the second participant is engaged in the event, and determine, based on (a) the time-synchronization data, (b) the at least one first physical parameter, and (c) the at least one second physical parameter, whether the detected contact between the first participant and the second participant exceeds one or more thresholds corresponding to a rules-based infraction associated with the event.
System and Methods for Providing a User Key Performance Indicators for Basketball
The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for providing a user with key performance indicators of a basketball player relating to accuracy, precision and improvement. Specifically, the disclosure is directed to a system of sensors coupled to a basketball backboard adapted to provide an accurate tracking of a shot in a given three-dimensional space and extract features manipulated to yield key performance indicators based on establishing whether, how often and where the ball center passes the rim plane at a sub-cm resolution over a period of no more than 200 msec.
FLAG FOOTBALL SYSTEM
Systems and methods described herein may provide an adjustable magnetic attachment force for flag football and for determining a location in flag football. In some embodiments, a system comprises a flag and a wearable item, wherein the flag and the wearable item are configured such that a magnetic attachment force exerted between a first connector and a second connector attaches the flag to the wearable item. In some embodiments, a set comprises one or more flags and one or more wearable items, wherein an adjustable magnetic attachment force attaching the flags and wearable items is adjusted by replacing one or more magnetic components. In some embodiments, a system comprising a flag and a wearable item is configured to detect that contact between a first connector and a second connector has been broken and to automatically indicate a location associated with the contact being broken.

FLAG FOOTBALL MARKER
An electronic sideline marker for use in football comprises a first display configured to display an indication of a down and a second display configured to display one or more timers. The second display may be configured to display a play clock, a go-clock, and/or a throw-clock. A play clock may first be displayed, and the marker may then receive an indication (e.g., a button press) that the football has been snapped, at which point display of the play clock may be replaced with display of a go-clock. The marker may be configured to output indications when the play clock, go-clock, and/or throw-clock expire. The marker may be configured to electronically communicate with one or more other markers for use in the football game, or one or more other remote electronic devices such as sensors in flag football belts, flags, and/or footballs.

A sports and performance media positional detection system, comprising: at least two elements, with at least one element involved in the sporting activity; a power source; and machine-to-machine communication, which are collectively arranged such that if any two or more elements interact, their electromagnetic properties can be detected thus allowing the position of the interacting elements to be communicated to a decision maker. The system can be applied to at least one stationary element, which can be the playing surface, lines defining the boundaries, or a set of goalposts; and at least one moving element, which could be a ball, footwear, or the participants themselves. The evaluation sequence for the person can include a first sequence of actions that are the same each person being evaluated for a particular skill and a second sequence of actions that is based on the results of the first sequence and may be different for each person. Once the first and second sequences have been completed by the person, the system can determine a performance level for the person for the skills being evaluated.

Mouth guard having user-notification feature of impact force
A mouth guard senses impact forces and determines if the forces exceed an impact threshold. If so, the mouth guard notifies the user of the risk for injury by haptic feedback, vibratory feedback, and/or audible feedback. The mouth guard system may also remotely communicate the status of risk and the potential injury. The mouth guard uses a local memory device to store impact thresholds based on personal biometric information obtained from the user and compares the sensed forces relative to those threshold values. The mouth guard and its electrical components on the printed circuit board are custom manufactured for the user such that the mouth guard provides a comfortable and reliable fit, while ensuring exceptional performance.
