Torque overdrive stair climber
Disclosed herein is a stair climber that includes a frame having a base, an upper axle and a lower axle, and steps revolvably coupled to the upper axle and the lower axle. The stair climber also includes an electric brake mechanism operating in generative mode and coupled with the steps and configured to provide a variable resistive force. Also included is a controller that receives an indication of a selected exercise mode from a user that includes a first speed, a second speed, and a difficulty level. The controller also balances a load, in a learning mode, on the steps based a user's weight at the first speed, and controls, in response to the user applying an additional load to the steps via a rail system, the electric brake mechanism to apply the difficulty level of the selected exercise mode and prevent the steps from exceeding the second speed.
INDOOR WAIST TWISTING MACHINE HAVING ELECTRONIC WEIGHT SCALE
Disclosed is an indoor waist exercise machine having an electronic weight scale. The indoor waist exercise machine having the electronic weight scale according to the embodiment may include an electronic weight scale, a rotary unit installed at a lower side of the electronic weight scale and including a rotary shaft disposed at one end thereof and a rotary sphere disposed at a lower end of the rotary shaft, a support unit installed below the rotary unit, spaced apart from the rotary unit, and having a coupling groove portion, and a control unit configured to control and lower the rotary unit so that the rotary sphere and the coupling groove portion are fitted with each other when a weight detected by the electronic weight scale exceeds a preset critical value.
Fitness equipment cruise control with power reserve
A computer implemented system provides a cruise control function, during a fitness equipment-based workout, to report a power output amount based on a cruise control set-point. The system includes a piece of fitness equipment, a control device, and a computing device. The fitness equipment produces an output corresponding to actual power produced on the fitness equipment. The control device transmits an indication of power being produced to the computing device as an input to a fitness training game. In a first operational state, the indication represents the actual amount of power being produced via operation of the fitness equipment by the user, but in a second operational state, the numerical indication is a virtual power amount corresponding to a cruise control set-point amount established via the control device.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF ASSESSING DATA CORRESPONDING TO PERFORMANCE OF A PLAYER PLAYING A SPORT AND PROVIDING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE
A system and a method of assessing data corresponding to performance of a player playing a sport/game and providing recommendations for improving the performance are disclosed. The system presents a set of questionnaires corresponding to a first set of elements and a second set of elements to a user. The first set of elements correspond to personality and the second set of elements correspond to an ecosystem of a player or user playing/interested in a sport/game/play. The user provides responses using a user device. The system receives the responses and maps each of the responses with predetermined parameters having weightages. The system determines a score for each of the first set of elements and the second set of elements based on the mapping and assesses the skill, personality and ecosystem of the player. Further, the system presents an aggregate score based on the score for each of the first and second set of elements. The system provides recommendations to the user to improve the game based on the assessment.
Exercising Apparatus
Systems and methods for an exercise apparatus are provided and include a flexible elongated member, a binding apparatus, and a motor assembly. The binding apparatus is attached to the flexible elongated member and has a clamping mechanism configured to secure a shoe of a user of the exercise apparatus to the flexible elongated member. The motor assembly is disposed between the shoe and the flexible elongated member and is configured to cause the flexible elongated member to oscillate.
Strength training apparatus
Embodiments of a strength training apparatus and related methods are provided. In one embodiment, a strength training apparatus may include a tower, a first arm and a second arm each pivotally coupled with the tower and each being configured to be selectively positionable independent of each other at multiple angles relative to each other, a first pulley coupled to an end of the first arm, a first cable extending through the first arm and the first pulley, a second pulley coupled to an end of the second arm, a second cable extending through the second arm and the second pulley, a magnetic mechanism coupled to the first cable and the second cable and configured to provide multiple levels of resistance to a user pulling on the first cable and/or the second cable, and a control panel located on the tower.
Control Panel Mount for Exercise Machine
A control panel mount for an exercise machine has an equipment mounting plate, an intermediate plate and a control panel mounting plate. The equipment mounting plate is adapted and configured to be mounted to the exercise machine. The control panel mounting plate is adapted and configured to be mounted to a control panel of the exercise machine. The equipment mounting plate is hingedly connected to the intermediate plate, and the intermediate plate is rotatably connected to the control panel mounting plate.
Electronically actuated dumbbell weight training device having selectively connected weight plates
Disclosed is a dumbbell to be used during a weight lifting exercise program. The dumbbell includes a handle assembly and a pair of collars connected at opposite sides of the assembly. First and second sets of weight plates are detachably connected to each other and to the pair of collars. Each weight plate has an electric motor carried in a cavity formed therein. The dumbbell is seated in a portable dumbbell tray which includes a touch activated display at which a user can enter a predetermined weight to be lifted by the dumbbell during his exercise. The dumbbell tray also has a processor and a motor controller by which the electric motors of respective weight plates are selectively activated to cause the weight plates to be connected together to correspond with the weight entered by the user at the display.
Systems and methods for dynamically lighting a fluid-resistance exercise machine
An illumination device for directing light into a transparent fluid tank of a fluid-resistance exercise machine is disclosed. The device can be coupled with an exterior surface of the tank and includes a light source oriented to project light through a surface and into a region of the fluid tank where the light can be observed by a user of the machine during operation, especially when a rotary device disturbs the fluid to generate the fluid resistance effect. The illumination device can include a control unit having a processor and a communication device, where the communication device receives an exercise-related parameter relayed during operation of the exercise machine. In response the control unit can dynamically adjust a quality of the light as a function of the received parameter, such as heartrate, output, resistance, time, distance, or speed.
