WORKOUT MAT
Embodiments described herein relate to systems and methods for a connected workout mat to create sensory experiences. A connected mat has at least one input device to receive input data and at least one output device that synchronises with content through a digital content platform. A hardware processor generates digital output for the digital content platform or physical sensory output at the connected mat based on the input data from the connected mat and instructor input. Embodiments described herein relate to systems and methods for a workout mat with at least one heating region to create sensory experiences based on input data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING ELLIPTICAL MACHINE TO PERFORM CARDIOVASCULAR REHABILITATION
Systems including an elliptical machine and a processing device. The processing device may be configured to receive, before or while a user operates the elliptical machine, one or more messages pertaining to the user or a use of the elliptical machine by the user. The processing device may be also configured to determine whether the one or more messages were received by the processing device. In response to determining that the one or more messages were not received by the processing device, the processing device may be configured to determine, via one or more machine learning models, one or more actions to perform. The one or more actions may include at least one of initiating a telecommunications transmission, stopping operation of the elliptical machine, and modifying one or more parameters associated with the operation of the elliptical machine.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING USER INTERFACE OF EXERCISE DEVICE AND EXERCISE DEVICE PERFORMING SAME
An exercise machine includes a sensor configured to detect a movement of the exercise machine, a user interface (UI) unit configured to output a UI screen, a memory, and a processor. The processor executes one or more instructions stored in the memory to control the UI unit to display, on the UI screen, a first UI element indicating a user's exercise state corresponding to the detected movement and a second UI element indicating an exercise guide recommended during an exercise using the exercise machine, and change and display a color or shape of at least one of the first UI element and the second UI element, based on a distance between the first UI element and the second UI element on the UI screen.
Manual treadmill which can be set to an exercise speed
A treadmill which is driven by movement of a user includes a frame, a continuous belt mounted around the frame, a sensor and a control unit. The continuous belt has a top surface for allowing a user to perform walking, jogging or running thereon. The sensor is configured to detect a rotation speed of the continuous belt. The control unit is configured to control a resistance of the continuous belt and an elevation angle of the top surface of the continuous belt for adjusting the rotation speed of the continuous belt to a predetermined speed. When the rotation speed of the continuous belt is slower than the predetermined speed even the resistance has reached a lower limit of available resistance settings, the control unit is operable to increase the elevation angle of the top surface of the continuous belt to further increase the rotation speed of the continuous belt.
Respiratory training and airway pressure monitoring device
A respiratory training device providing both inspiratory and expiratory functional evaluation and training, as well as independent regulation of both the inspiratory and expiratory airway resistance levels used during training. The respiratory training device also includes data acquisition, recording, storage, retrieval and display functions for airway pressure monitoring data to provide functional evaluation, physiological monitoring, and diagnostic features. The respiratory training device allows the user to easily develop and follow precise and advanced training protocols, and utilize the respiratory device in both the clinical and home setting.
Timeline and media controller for exercise machine
A program is presented to a user including a stream of content including a first auditory content and a first visual content related to the workout. A context state of the user participating in the workout is determined based on information from a sensor. A responsive content is selectively added based on the context state of the user to the stream of content in a manner that avoids conflict with the stream of content.
Kinoped lower extremity performance improvement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation system
A ground-effect footplate against which a user applies plantar force and moves their foot in 3D across all seven lower-extremity biomechanical axes to accomplish specific as well as global ambulatory objectives related to lower extremity performance improvement, injury prevention and rehabilitation. A device comprising at least one articulating leg connected to a ground-effect footplate and a surface for a user to position against. The device can be used in conjunction with software to create virtual ambulatory environments that mimic GRFVs and cause moments of force that initiate muscular activations that substantially mimic human ambulation, and can couple those movements with non-functional movements in order to improve ROM, speed, strength, and proprioception.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING AN IMMERSIVE ENHANCED REALITY-DRIVEN EXERCISE EXPERIENCE FOR A USER
A computer-implemented system may include a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user is performing a treatment plan, a patient interface. and a computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user who uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; identify at least one enhanced component using the treatment data; generate an enhanced environment using the at least one enhanced component and the treatment plan; output at least one aspect of the enhanced environment to at least one of the patient interface and another interface; receive subsequent treatment data pertaining to the user; and selectively modify at least one of the enhanced environment and at least one of the at least one aspect of the treatment plan and any other aspect of the treatment plan using the subsequent treatment data.
Adjustable transverse resistance exercise machine
An adjustably tensioned, transverse-suspended elastic element exercise device is disclosed. The transverse element is suspended between rigidly mounted frame or arm elements and sized so as to enable full range of motion exercises. The tension and height of the transverse elastic member can be adjusted to accommodate varying exercise levels and positions. The assembly may include handgrips and attachments to augment workouts. Electronic adjustability, metrics, programmability and Internet connectivity enhance the user experience. A method of using the device is also disclosed.
TRAINING PROGRAM CUSTOMIZATION USING SENSOR-EQUIPPED ATHLETIC GARMENTS
An exercise feedback system monitors the performance of athletes wearing a garment with sensors while exercising. The sensors generate physiological data such as muscle activation data, heart rate data, or data describing the athlete's movement. The system extracts features from the physiological data and compares the features with reference exercise data to determine metrics of performance and biofeedback. Based on the physiological data, the system may also modify exercise training programs for the athlete. The exercise feedback system can display the biofeedback using visuals or audio, as well as modified exercise training programs, via the athlete's client device in real time while the athlete is exercising. By reviewing the biofeedback, the athlete may correct the athlete's exercise form to properly use the target muscles for the exercise, or change the certain workouts to personalize the training program.
