Locking device for recumbent stepper
A locking device for an exercise system may include at least one moveable assembly that is in communication with a resistance mechanism. The locking device has an actuating device for selectively engaging the locking device, a locking member having a contact portion, wherein the contact portion of the locking member is not in contact with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system when the actuating device is in a first position, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly, and wherein the contact portion of the locking member is in contact with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system when the actuating device is in a second position, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.
ATHLETIC EYEGLASSES SYSTEM AND METHOD
An athletic eyeglasses system and method for monitoring and displaying to an athlete relevant information such as elapsed time and heart rate, in real time, without diversion of attention from the view ahead and without extraneous movement of hands or arms, providing an eyeglasses frame, two frame arms, two display glass units having data displays, a controller unit, a battery, a covered port for charging the battery, input buttons, a timer starter, and a sensor to sense physiological conditions such as heart rate and peripheral oxygen saturation.
TRAINING APPARATUS
A training apparatus having a frame with a pivot bearing on which a seat surface and/or a backrest are pivotably arranged, wherein the training apparatus has at least one actuator and a control unit with which the seat surface and/or the backrest are adjustable, wherein the at least one actuator is operatively connected to the frame and to the seat surface and/or to the backrest is disclosed.
Respiratory training system
A system for respiratory training including a housing, a respiratory air channel disposed within the housing, a sensor configured to detect a breathing indicator and transmit a breathing indicator signal, a haptic device disposed within the housing, a processor operatively coupled to the sensor and the haptic device, and a memory device operatively coupled to the processor. The memory device includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive the breathing indicator signal from the sensor; generate a breath determination based on the breathing indicator signal; and responsive to the breath determination, cause the haptic device to generate a vibration.
Balance training system and control method for balance training system
A balance training system includes a moving carriage that moves on a moving surface, and a detection unit that detects a load received from training person's feet, and drives a driving unit based on the load's center of gravity of the feet to control movement of the moving carriage. A boarding plate is divided into a front plate on which a toe side of the feet is placed and a rear plate on which a heel side of the feet is placed. The detection unit includes right and left front load sensors, respectively provided with tilts to right and left foot sides, on a rear surface side opposite to the boarding surface of the front plate, and right and left rear load sensors, respectively provided with tilts to the right and left foot sides, on a rear surface side opposite to the boarding surface of the rear plate.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTELY-ENABLED IDENTIFICATION OF A USER INFECTION
Systems and methods for identifying a condition of a user. A treatment apparatus is configured to be manipulated by the user for performing an exercise, and an interface is communicably coupled to the treatment apparatus. One or more sensors are configured to sense one or more characteristics of an anatomical structure of the user. A processing device and a memory is communicatively coupled to the processing device. The memory includes computer readable instructions, that when executed by the processing device, cause the processing device to: receive, from the sensors, one or more sensor inputs representative of the one or more of characteristics of the anatomical structures; calculate an infection probability of a disease based on the one or more characteristics of the anatomical structures; and output, to the interface, a representation of the infection probability.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USE OF TELEMEDICINE-ENABLED REHABILITATIVE EQUIPMENT FOR PREDICTION OF SECONDARY DISEASE
A computer-implemented system may include a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user is performing a treatment plan, a patient interface comprising an output device configured to present telemedicine information associated with a telemedicine session, and a first computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user while the user uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; identify at least one aspect of the at least one measurement pertaining to the user associated with a first treatment device mode of the treatment device; determine whether the at least one aspect of the measurement correlates with a secondary condition of the user; and, in response to a determination that the at least one aspect of the at least one measurement is correlated with the at least one secondary condition of the user, generate secondary condition information indicating at least the secondary condition.
BASE FOR USE ON A TREADMILL AND METHOD
A base and method of using a base on a treadmill in which the base comprises three or more first ball bearing assemblies, each ball bearing assembly comprising a ball and a mounting assembly, the base also comprising one or more lower ball bearing assemblies, each lower ball bearing assembly comprising a lower ball and a lower mounting assembly, wherein each lower ball bearing assembly projects down from a plane defined by three or more of the ball bearing assemblies. A base may be attachable to or integrated into a piece of sports footwear or a board of a board sport. A user standing on footwear or a board with one or more bases may rock in one or more direction on the sports footwear to produce a leaning effect wherein one or more lower ball bearing assemblies and two or more ball bearing assemblies contact the ground.
APPARATUS FOR NATURAL TORSO AND LIMBS TRACKING AND FEEDBACK FOR ELECTRONIC INTERACTION
An apparatus for natural torso and limbs tracking and feedback for electronic interaction with fall safety support. The apparatus comprises a body harness worn on the body of a user, a support structure designed to bear the weight of the user in the event of a stumble, trip, or fall, and a plurality of tethers attached at one end to the harness and at the other end to the support structure. One or more sensors are integrated into the system to measure aspects of the user's movement and used as input to control a computer system. In the event of stumble, trip, or fall, all of, or a portion of, the user's body weight is borne by the tethers as a safety mechanism to prevent injury. The system is designed to be used with virtual reality systems wherein the user's vision is blocked or obscured by a virtual reality visor.
Competitive weightlifting machine and methods for using the same
The present invention provides a competitive weightlifting system capable of interacting with and comparing weightlifting performances of multiple users, and creating competition between such users by displaying a ranked list of performances by those users.
