Engine device
An engine includes: an exhaust manifold 7 close to one of left and right side surfaces of an engine; a turbocharger 60 having an exhaust-side inlet connected to the exhaust manifold 7; and a rocker-arm-chamber-integrated intake manifold 8 being disposed on an upper surface of a cylinder head 5 and integrally including a rocker arm chamber 90 and an intake manifold 6. The intake manifold 8 has a wall 101 dividing the rocker arm chamber 90 close to the one of the left and right side surfaces of the engine 1 and the intake manifold 6 close to the other of the left and right side surfaces to isolate the rocker arm chamber 90 and the intake manifold 6 from each other. The rocker arm chamber 90 has, in its upper portion, a positive crankcase ventilation device 69 protruding therefrom and being configured to return blowby gas to an intake system. The positive crankcase ventilation device 69 has, in its side surface, a blowby-gas discharge port 67 connected with a gas conduit 68 through which blowby gas is delivered to an intake-side inlet of the turbocharger 60.
Engine Device

The intake manifold 8 has a wall 101 dividing the rocker arm chamber 90 close to the one of the left and right side surfaces of the engine 1 and the intake manifold 6 close to the other of the left and right side surfaces to isolate the rocker arm chamber 90 and the intake manifold 6 from each other. The rocker arm chamber 90 has, in its upper portion, a positive crankcase ventilation device 69 protruding therefrom and being configured to return blowby gas to an intake system. The positive crankcase ventilation device 69 has, in its side surface, a blowby-gas discharge port 67 connected with a gas conduit 68 through which blowby gas is delivered to an intake-side inlet of the turbocharger 60.
Combustion engine crankcase breather system and method
In a combustion engine, an exit stream of blow-by gases follows a fluid pathway through an oil and air separator and a breather filter, the oil and air separator including a first housing including a central chamber therein, the central chamber divided into a first outer portion and a second inner portion by a barrier; a filter material disposed between the first outer portion and the second inner portion; a cap directly coupled to the first housing, the cap including a first lumen therethrough, the first lumen including a first end disposed at the second inner portion; and a coupler removably coupling the cap and an extension portion including a second lumen therethrough.
Air-oil separator drain valve and related method of use
A drain valve of an air-oil separator configured to separate oil aerosol from blow-by gas of an internal combustion engine is provided. The drain valve includes a floating plate adapted to close or open depending on oil flow and pressure relative to a drainpipe, and a plug that maintains the floating plate in the drainpipe and provides a flow path for oil in the drainpipe. The plug can serve a secondary function and form part of a seal recess that receives an annular seal member, such as an o-ring, to form a liquid tight seal around the drainpipe when coupled to another engine component to allow transfer of oil through the drainpipe. A related method of use is provided.
Head cover structure
A head cover structure (45) for an internal combustion engine (1) comprises a head cover (4) connected to a cylinder head (3), and an auxiliary cover (44) connected to the head cover and defining a gas-liquid separation passage (74) jointly with the head cover, the gas-liquid separation passage being communicated with a crankcase chamber (11) of the internal combustion engine, and configured to separate lubricating oil from a crankcase gas drawn from the crankcase chamber, wherein the auxiliary cover is integrally formed with an intake pipe (49) internally defining a part of an intake passage (20) of the internal combustion engine, and the auxiliary cover internally defines a crankcase gas introduction passage (63) communicating the gas-liquid separation passage with an interior of the intake pipe.

The invention describes an internal combustion engine having at least one crankcase, at least one cylinder head, at least one cylinder head cover, at least one oil separator and at least one oil pan for collecting returning oil as well as having at least one oil return channel that connects the oil separator and the oil pan.
Centrifugal separator structure and assembly having an unjournaled axle member
A centrifugal separator structure is configured for cleaning of crankcase gases from an internal combustion engine. The centrifugal separator structure includes a separator rotor configured for rotation about a centre axis arranged inside a stationary housing. The separator rotor includes an axle member configured for connection to a shaft of a driving device. A stack of separation discs is supported on the axle member. The axle member is un-journaled inside the stationary housing when the centrifugal separator structure is separate from the driving device. Further, an assembly includes the centrifugal separator structure and a driving device.
HEAD COVER STRUCTURE

Device for separating particles from a gas flow, particle separator and crankcase ventilation system
A device separates particles such as oil particles from a gas flow, from a blow-by gas of a crankcase ventilation, in an internal combustion engine. The device includes a valve seat that defines a flow passage opening and a movable valve element that can be displaced between a closed position, in which the valve element is in abutting contact with the valve seat and the abutting contact defines an axial abutting point, and at least one open position, in which the valve element is moved from the axial abutting point in an axial actuating direction. The movable valve element has a rotationally symmetrical bowl upstream of the gas flow, and a base of the bowl axially protrudes past the abutting point opposite to the axial actuating direction.
BREATHER FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A breather is provided for an internal combustion engine that is configured to be mounted to provide a compact, space efficient packaging arrangement for the internal combustion engine. The breather includes a housing with a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall, and a plurality of sidewalls connecting the front and rear walls. The front wall is configured for attachment to the rearward end of the valve cover.
