A muffler with ease discharge of condensate may include a housing formed of a cylinder shape and provided with an end plate at both end portions thereof, at least one baffle disposed in the housing to divide the internal space of housing into a plurality of chambers, an inlet pipe introducing exhaust gas in the housing, an outlet pipe discharging the exhaust gas from the housing the outside, so that the exhaust gas flowed into the inlet pipe flows through the chamber divided in the housing to be discharged through the outlet pipe, a condensate collecting tube disposed along the lower surface of the housing and provided with a passage in which the condensate gathered in the lower surface of the housing is introduced to be flowed and a condensate inducing tube connecting the condensate collecting tube and the outlet pipe.

The at least one ridge includes a first portion angularly extending inwardly from the tubular component, and a second portion disposed downstream of the first portion. The second portion angularly extends inwardly from the tubular component. In some cases, the second portion defines a plurality of openings extending therethrough and spaced apart from each other. In some cases, the tubular component defines a plurality of tube openings disposed downstream of the at least one ridge.

A part or all of the second connection pipe is formed to have a pipe shape by two or more plate materials, and has a non-true circular cross-sectional surface shape.

Exhaust gas introduced via the at least one exhaust gas pipe group (19) leaves the muffler housing (16) via the outlet pipe (20). A first inlet pipe (38), of the at least one exhaust gas pipe group (19), has an inlet pipe end area (40), which is inserted into the outlet pipe (20) and extends in the outlet pipe (20). A second inlet pipe (48), of the at least one exhaust gas pipe group (19), is open towards the expansion chamber (26).

EXHAUST ORIFICE TUBE FOR VEHICLE MUFFLERS

A vehicle exhaust system is provided. The exhaust system may include a muffler including a casing, an inlet tube extending therethrough, and an outlet pipe partially disposed therein. The exhaust system may also include an orifice tube that may have a tapered body inserted within an end of the outlet pipe that is disposed between a baffle and a wall of the casing. The orifice tube may also include an inlet portion flared from the tapered body configured to attenuate noise of exhaust gas funneling into the outlet pipe.
