Exercise Treadmill
An exercise treadmill is disclosed. The treadmill can include one or more sensors to acquire input data. A computer system can trigger one or more actions based on the input data. The input data can correspond to a lengthwise position of the user along a length of a usable surface of the platform and/or a lateral position of the user on the belt. The action(s) can include providing feedback to the user and/or adjusting rotation of the belt and/or a resistance of rotation of the belt. The adjustment can be performed in response to input from a user control requesting the adjustment.
Exercise machine controls
A method includes receiving electronic content via a network, the electronic content comprising an exercise class, and receiving user data associated with a user participating in the exercise class using an exercise machine. The method also includes generating an executable control for a user interface based at least in part on the user data, and providing the executable control, via a display of the exercise machine, while the user is participating in the exercise class. In such a method, the executable control is operable to modify a parameter of the exercise machine while the user is participating in the exercise class.
SMART GOLF BAG SYSTEM
Provided is a smart golf bag system. The system includes a computing device coupled to a bag and a server coupled to the computing device. The system may include a sensor system coupled to the bag, wherein the sensor system communicates with the computing device. The system tracks golfer data, such as distance hit with each club used in a round of golf, the weather, time of day and the like. The data is stored and aggregated in the server and may be analyzed to suggest clubs based on the distance to the hole, etc.
USER TERMINAL AND SEARCH SYSTEM
A user terminal includes a communication device configured to receive radio waves transmitted from a wireless communication tag provided on a golf ball, an output device configured to output information to a user, and a controller configured to control the output device and output information according to radio waves transmitted from the wireless communication tag provided on a golf ball.
PERSONALIZED ADJUSTED YARDAGE RECOMMENDATION SYSTEMS
Systems, methods, and devices for providing an adjusted yardage recommendation (AYR) to a golfer prior to a golf shot. AYRs are determined based on predicted golf ball trajectories that are modeled from a golfer's golf ball launch data, using non-classical mathematical approximation methods. Each of the modeled trajectories are unique, and result in personalized AYR values that are personalized to each individual golfer, even where two golfers hit a ball with the same club the same distance while having two different ball flights. Devices that can perform the methods of the present invention include rangefinder devices and/or portable computing devices, such as a smartphone. Systems can include a rangefinder device and a portable computing device, in which the rangefinder device determines the line-of-sight distance and angle of elevation to a target and communicates the same to the portable computing device, which calculates the AYR.
SYSTEM FOR ANALYZING GOLF CLUB SELECTION, SWING CHARACTERISTICS, AND GOLF COURSE PLAYABILITY
A system for golf analysis with a passive data collection device inserted and affixed inside the interior shaft of each of a set of golf clubs, and an active data receiving device in wireless communication. The data receiving device polls the data collection device for data inclusive of geographic coordinates corresponding to points along a golf course, and golf club selection at said points, analyzes the data relative to prestored golfer and course data, and displays analytic results to the golfer, golf instructor, course administrator or others.
Smart golf pin system
The disclosure herein provides a smart golf pin system and golf GPS device with a mechanism to automatically receive golf hole cup information and display the golf hole information on the golf GPS device. More specifically, the golf GPS device receives data from a plurality of GPS modules installed on the golf pins located throughout the golf course and based on its current location, selects a set of GPS coordinates corresponding to the current hole that the golfer is playing, and displays a distance from the golf GPS device to the actual hole cup location in the current hole, thereby allowing the golfer to fine tune his or her approach accordingly.

Systems can include a rangefinder device and a portable computing device, in which the rangefinder device determines the line-of-sight distance and angle of elevation to a target and communicates the same to the portable computing device, which calculates the AYR.
System and method for monitoring performance characteristics associated with user activities involving swinging instruments
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to various components of a system for monitoring and/or tracking a user's performance during an activity involving an instrument that is swung. Exemplary embodiments can include a sensor module configured to be secured to the instrument. The sensor module can detect a swing event and/or an impact between the instrument and an object and can implement power management features to limit or manage a power consumption of the sensor module. The sensor module can transmit swing information to an electronic device associated with the user, which can display the swing information, process the swing information, and/or transmit the swing information to a remote system.
Activity and workout updates
The present disclosure generally relates to navigating, viewing, and sharing activity and workout data and interacting with workout and/or activity applications. In some examples, scrolling of activity data is based on the content being displayed. In some examples, friends' activity data may be viewed. In some examples, a notification and workout data for a friend's completed workout is received and displayed. In some example, the activity data received from friends is viewed and managed. In some examples, workout data for a multi-segment workout is displayed in a three-dimensional stack on a map. In some examples, a workout application operates in a limited mode until a touch input is received with a characteristic intensity that is greater than a threshold intensity.
