METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HANDLING EXHAUST GAS
An exhaust handling system comprising: an exhaust pipe having an exhaust outlet, said exhaust outlet having a nozzle arranged to vent exhaust gas; at least one acceleration jet arranged to project an air flow at a velocity head greater than that of the vented exhaust gas; wherein the at least one acceleration jet and exhaust outlet are positioned to project the air flow so as to impinge on a path of said vented exhaust gas, and consequently transfer velocity head to the vented exhaust gas.
EXHAUST MECHANISM AND WORKING VEHICLE
An exhaust mechanism includes an exhaust pipe, an exhaust port, and a baffle plate. The exhaust pipe has one end connected to an engine and another end opposite to the one end along a length of the exhaust pipe. The exhaust port is provided at another end of the exhaust pipe and extends in a first direction inclined from the height direction along a height of the work vehicle. A length of the exhaust port in the height direction is shorter than a length of the exhaust port in the transverse direction perpendicular to a plane including the first direction and the height direction. The baffle plate is provided in the exhaust port and configured to change an exhaust gas flow from the first direction to the transverse direction.
CAR PROVIDED WITH AN EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH AERODYNAMIC EFFECT
A car having: two front wheels; two rear wheels; a bottom wall, which delimits a lower surface, which faces a road surface and, in use, is brushed by an air flow flowing under the car; an internal combustion engine; and an exhaust system, which is coupled to the internal combustion engine and is provided with an exhaust duct, which originates from the internal combustion engine and has an end chamber, which ends with an outlet opening, through which exhaust gases are released into the atmosphere. The end chamber of the exhaust duct has at least one movable partition, which can be moved to different positions so as to change the width of the outlet opening. The movable partition delimits a lower surface of the end chamber, which faces the road surface and, in use, is brushed by the air flow flowing under the car.
EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust system for an internal combustion engine and having an end chamber having a first inlet opening and a second inlet opening, which are separate from and independent of one another, and an outlet opening, through which exhaust gases are released into the atmosphere; an exhaust duct, which originates from the internal combustion engine and leads to the first inlet opening of the end chamber; a silencer device, which has an outlet opening, which directly leads to the second inlet opening of the end chamber; a bypass duct, which originates from the exhaust duct in the area of a bifurcation and ends in an inlet opening of the silencer device; and an adjustment valve, which can be electronically controlled, is arranged along the exhaust duct downstream of the bifurcation where the bypass duct originates and is designed to adjust the exhaust gas flow towards the first inlet opening of the end chamber.
Turbocharger assembly
The present invention relates to an improved turbocharger assembly, particularly of the variable geometry type. The improved turbocharge assembly contains a turbine. The turbine includes an impeller housed in a casing, a flange that can be sealingly associated with a corresponding flange of an exhaust gas manifold of an engine, and a clapet valve that contains a shutter element and a housing seat. The housing seat is fashioned in a frame made in one piece with the casing.
Well site noise control
A positionable exhaust apparatus with an exhaust outlet having a first bore extending along a length of the exhaust outlet. The first bore having a longitudinal axis extending the length thereof and an exhaust outlet tip coupled to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip having a second bore with at least a portion of the second bore substantially aligned with the first bore of the exhaust outlet. An actuator coupled with the exhaust outlet and the exhaust outlet tip with at least a portion of the exhaust outlet tip to rotate the exhaust outlet tip relative to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip rotatable three hundred and sixty degrees about the longitudinal axis of the exhaust outlet.
Tractor
A tractor including: an engine mounted on a traveling body; a post-processing device configured to purify exhaust gas of the engine; and a tail pipe long in an up-down direction and configured to emit exhaust gas having passed through the post-processing device to the outside. The post-processing device is arranged in a standing posture in front of an operation unit on the traveling body so that the exhaust gas flows from the bottom to the top. An upwardly protruding outlet pipe is provided on an upper surface side of the post-processing device. The inner diameter of an exhaust gas inlet side of the tail pipe is set larger than the outer diameter of the outlet pipe which is inserted and communicated with the exhaust gas inlet side of the tail pipe.
Exhaust component with illumination
One embodiment of exhaust component (30) contains a shield (40). The shield being opaque allows indefinite designs to be cut out. These designs are illuminated by illumination assembly (36), which enhances cutouts (44), thereby allowing them to remain visible under all conditions. Another embodiment of the exhaust component without the shield contains illumination modules (58). These modules illuminate the exhaust component's mouth (32) through base (22) or outer wall (34), and this allows the shape of the exhaust component to be the design feature. The illumination of the mouth both enhances the shape and allows it to remain visible under all conditions. These embodiments can occur alone or together for both maximal design enhancement and additional visibility of the vehicle thereby increasing safety.
