Cooling apparatus for vehicle
A cooling apparatus for a vehicle includes air-cooling first and second heat exchangers that are placed beside each other. A coolant flow-out portion of the first heat exchanger from which a first coolant which is a cooling target of the first heat exchanger flows out and a coolant flow-out portion of the second heat exchanger from which a second coolant which is a cooling target of the second heat exchanger flows out are placed at ends at opposite positions separated along a diagonal line on a parallel placement surface of the two heat exchangers. A first cooling fan is placed opposing the coolant flow-out portion of the first heat exchanger, and a second cooling fan is placed opposing the coolant flow-out portion of the second heat exchanger. With this configuration, cooling performance of two air-cooling heat exchangers placed beside each other can be improved.

There is provided a straddle-type vehicle. A water jacket is configured to cool an engine by cooling water discharged from a water pump. A radiator is arranged in front of the engine. A cooling water stream control unit is configured to control a flow rate of the cooling water to circulate in the radiator, based on a temperature of the cooling water after cooling the engine. The water pump is mounted to a part of a crankcase at one side in a right and left direction of the straddle-type vehicle. The cooling water stream control unit is arranged at a position that is located at the one side of a center of the straddle-type vehicle in the right and left direction, is lower than a cylinder head cover and is located between the engine and the radiator, when seeing the straddle-type vehicle from a side.
COOLING MODULE FOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a cooling module for a vehicle, and more particularly, to a cooling module for a vehicle including a condenser, a first radiator through which coolant for an engine flow, a second radiator through which coolant for electrical components flows, and an intercooler, and capable of evenly distributing air resistance of the front surface of the first radiator to secure an overall balance of an air volume distribution by disposing the condenser, the second radiator, and the first radiator in a flow direction of air or disposing the second radiator, the condenser, and the first radiator in this order, and disposing the intercooler on lower sides of the condenser and the second radiator, and capable of minimizing a gap of each heat exchange period by disposing the condenser C and the first radiator R to be in closely contact with the second radiator L.
Cooling module
A cooling module including: a radiator including: first and second header tanks disposed to face each other; and hook parts respectively disposed at upper and lower sides of the first header tank and a lower side of the second header tank; and a condenser including: third and fourth header tanks disposed to face each other; a flange connection part coupled to the third header tank; and a gas-liquid separator coupled to the fourth header tank, in which the condenser is coupled to the radiator as the flange connection part, the third header tank, and the gas-liquid separator are inserted into the plurality of the hook parts, respectively, in a direction from an upper side to a lower side thereof.
Cooling module of a vehicle air conditioning system, and assembly for cooling a motor vehicle engine with a cooling module of this type
The invention relates to a cooling module (10) of a vehicle air conditioning system in particular for trucks, having a fan (12) which has an air inlet (14) and an air outlet (16) and generates an air flow in an air flow direction (18) from the air inlet (14) to the air outlet (16), a condenser (20) which can be flowed through bidirectionally for liquefying a refrigerant of the vehicle air conditioning system, which condenser (20) has an air flow cross section (A.sub.1) and is arranged so as to be adjacent to the air outlet (16) of the fan (12), wherein the air flow cross section (A.sub.1) has a first part cross section (22) and a second part cross section (24) which is different from the first part cross section (22), wherein the air outlet (16) of the fan (12) is assigned exclusively to the first part cross section (22) and loads the latter in the air flow direction (18) with the entire air flow of the fan (12), and wherein the second part cross section (24) can be flowed through during operation of the fan (12) selectively in the air flow direction (18) of the fan (12) and counter to the air flow direction (18) of the fan (12). Furthermore, the invention also relates to an assembly (28) for cooling a motor vehicle engine (30) with a cooling module (10) of this type.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE COOLING SYSTEM
A method for operating a vehicle cooling system includes generating via a main cooling unit a main cooling air flow passing through a first heat exchanger arrangement being associated with a main cooling path, generating via a secondary cooling unit, located upstream in the main cooling path, a secondary cooling air flow passing through a second heat exchanger arrangement being associated with a secondary cooling path branching off upstream in the main cooling path, in a first operating mode, operating via a control unit both the main cooling unit and the secondary cooling unit in order to generate mutually independent cooling air flows, and in a second operating mode, operating via the control unit the main cooling unit and setting the secondary cooling unit to one of a stationary or an idle operating state.
