The present invention relates to a fan frame for a plurality of fan modules, particularly for a radiator of a motor vehicle, comprising a first fan holder having a first outflow region, at least one further fan holder having a further outflow region, and an intermediate region that connects adjoining edge regions of the first and the further fan holders to each other. The fan frame is characterised in that a shielding device, which separates the first and a further outflow region from each other, is provided in the intermediate region. The present invention further relates to a fan module, particularly having such a fan frame.

A multiplane fan cooling system and method is disclosed for a cooling system with first, second and intake planes; a first fan and heat exchanger on the first plane, a second fan and heat exchanger on the second plane, and a shared air cavity bounded at least partially by these three planes. Each fan pulls air into the shared air cavity through the intake plane and across its associated heat exchanger. The first fan cools the first heat exchanger, and counteracts the second fan from drawing air into the shared air cavity through the first heat exchanger. The second fan cools the second heat exchanger. The second fan can be activated to counteract the first fan from drawing air into the shared air cavity through the second heat exchanger. All the air in the shared air cavity can be available to each of the fans.

Provided is a technique for improving the cooling efficiency of a vehicle heat exchange system configured to cool a cooling liquid discharged from each of a plurality of heat sources. The vehicle heat exchange system comprises a high-temperature side radiator unit and a low-temperature side radiator unit, the high-temperature side radiator including: a first high-temperature side radiator that faces a first fan and is connected to a high-temperature side discharge pipe; a second high-temperature side radiator that faces a second fan and is connected to a high-temperature side supply pipe; and a high-temperature side connection pipe for supplying the cooling liquid from the first high-temperature side radiator to the second high-temperature side radiator, and the low-temperature side radiator unit including: a first low-temperature side radiator that is arranged to face the second high-temperature side radiator on the upstream side of the cooling air flow, and is connected to a low-temperature side discharge pipe; a second low-temperature side radiator that is arranged to face the first high-temperature side radiator on the upstream side of the cooling air flow, and is connected to a low-temperature side supply pipe; and a low-temperature side connection pipe for supplying the cooling liquid from the first low-temperature side radiator to the second low-temperature side radiator.

COOLING SYSTEM FOR A MACHINE

A mining machine is provided. The machine includes a frame and an engine mounted on the frame. The machine also includes a heat exchanger and an aftertreatment system mounted on the frame. The machine further includes a cooling system disposed between the heat exchanger and the aftertreatment system. The cooling system includes a shroud member and a plurality of fans mounted on the shroud member. Each of the plurality of fans is adapted to provide a flow of air across the heat exchanger and around at least a portion of the aftertreatment system. The shroud member is split into a plurality of sections and each of the plurality of sections includes at least one of the plurality of fans therein.

Cooling apparatus for vehicle

A cooling apparatus for a vehicle includes air-cooling first and second heat exchangers that are placed beside each other. A coolant flow-out portion of the first heat exchanger from which a first coolant which is a cooling target of the first heat exchanger flows out and a coolant flow-out portion of the second heat exchanger from which a second coolant which is a cooling target of the second heat exchanger flows out are placed at ends at opposite positions separated along a diagonal line on a parallel placement surface of the two heat exchangers. A first cooling fan is placed opposing the coolant flow-out portion of the first heat exchanger, and a second cooling fan is placed opposing the coolant flow-out portion of the second heat exchanger. With this configuration, cooling performance of two air-cooling heat exchangers placed beside each other can be improved.

The present disclosure relates to a cross fan engine room blower for a vehicle, the cross fan engine room blower including: a plurality of cross fans that are horizontally arranged in an air flow space, that have an impeller-shaped rotating blade formed along a full length of the cross fans, and that rotate to draw outside air into the engine room. Such a cross fan engine room blower may maximize an air flow rate in the engine room and reduce the possibility of foreign materials being introduced between the cross fans and a fan shroud, thereby reducing the possibility of a motor stalling or otherwise performing undesirably. Such a cross fan engine room blower may also improve an air flow quality by minimizing a dead zone of the air flow space to thereby reduce power consumption of a motor, thereby improving fuel efficiency.
