APPARATUS FOR HANDLING FLUID WITHIN AN AT LEAST PARTIALLY ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN VEHICLE
An apparatus for handling fluid within an at least partially electrically powered vehicle, including: a valve device with a valve housing, the valve housing includes at least eight radially arranged port openings for fluid to flow in or out, a valve body, which is arranged inside the valve housing and is rotatable about an axis of rotation R, and the valve body includes at least four connecting channels for fluidly connecting two port openings, respectively.
Hybrid vehicle and method of cooling turbocharger
When a prescribed execution condition is satisfied at the time of transition from HV traveling (that is, traveling performed by an engine and a motor with generation of traveling driving force by the engine) to EV traveling (that is, traveling performed by the motor without generation of traveling driving force by the engine), a controller of a hybrid vehicle performs motoring (or a self-sustaining operation) of an engine and thereafter stops the engine.

ELECTRIC COOLANT PUMP WITH HEATING ELEMENT
An electric coolant pump of a cooling circuit of a motor vehicle includes a pump chamber, a suction line leading into a suction side of the pump chamber, a discharge channel leading out of a pressure side of the pump chamber, and an electric motor with a controller. The electric coolant pump includes a heater including an electric heating element which projects into the suction line or the discharge channel and which can be flushed by the coolant. The electric heating element includes at least a first heating element operating state in which the electric heating element can be operated from a power supply system and a second heating element operating state in which the electric heating element can be operated from an on-board power supply system of the motor vehicle. The controller of the electric motor is configured or programmed such that the electric motor also includes at least two operating states.

Vehicle temperature adjustment system
A second temperature adjustment medium branches and flows into the first branch flow path and the second branch flow path at the branching portion, the second temperature adjustment medium and the second temperature adjustment medium are merged at the merging portion and flow through the pressure feed flow path to be supplied to the first pump, and the second temperature adjustment medium circulates through the second temperature adjustment circuit. A valve device configured to adjust a flow rate of the second temperature adjustment medium flowing through the second branch flow path is provided in the second branch flow path between the branching portion and the heat exchanger. The control device is configured to control the valve device to block the second temperature adjustment medium from flowing through the second branch flow path when a failure of the heat exchanger is detected.

INTEGRATED SCREW-SPINDLE COOLANT PUMP
An electric screw coolant pump for integration into a temperature control circuit of an assembly of which the temperature is to be controlled. An accommodation housing includes a feeder line and a return line of the temperature control circuit, which open into a cavity. A part of the cavity surrounds a spindle housing and communicates with an outlet opening of the spindle housing as well as the feeder line. A sealing element, which provides a seal between a suction side and a pressure side, is arranged towards an end surface of the axial end of the inserted spindle housing.
