ENGINE COOLANT DRAINING DEVICE
20260049568 · 2026-02-19 ·

An engine coolant draining device for draining fluid coolant from an internal combustion engine includes a pipe which is attachable to a coolant drain on an internal combustion engine to receive a fluid coolant from the coolant drain. A valve is in fluid communication with the pipe to enable the fluid coolant to flow through the valve. The valve is positionable in a closed condition or an open condition thereby inhibiting or enabling the fluid coolant to flow through the valve. A hose is in fluid communication with the valve to receive the fluid coolant from the valve. The hose has a telescopically adjustable length thereby enabling the hose to be routed to a fluid receptacle for collecting the fluid coolant in the fluid receptacle without spilling.

COOLANT FILLER NECK ASSEMBLY HAVING INTEGRATED COOLANT OVERFLOW RESEVOIR

A coolant filler neck assembly for a pressurized cooling system. The coolant filler neck includes a cylinder housing defining a non-pressurized coolant overflow reservoir; an upper cap member attached to an upper region of the cylinder housing, the upper cap member including an overflow inlet port member arranged internally in the coolant overflow reservoir and a filler pipe member in fluidic communication with the overflow inlet port member and the pressurized cooling system; a first fluid overflow tube member arranged internally in the coolant overflow reservoir to extend in a longitudinal direction though a first region of the non-pressurized coolant overflow reservoir to direct overflow liquid coolant to the non-pressurized coolant overflow reservoir; and a second fluid overflow tube member arranged internally in the coolant overflow reservoir to extend in a longitudinal direction though a second region of the non-pressurized coolant overflow reservoir to direct the overflow liquid coolant from the non-pressurized coolant overflow reservoir to the ambient environment.

Vehicle pump assembly and off-road vehicle

A vehicle pump assembly 13 includes a pump 30 having a mechanical seal 35 sealing a cooling medium and a drain hose 50 attached to the pump 30. The pump 30 includes an introduction chamber 40 separated by the mechanical seal 35 and configured such that the cooling medium having leaked from the mechanical seal 35 is introduced thereinto, and the drain hose 50 communicates with the introduction chamber 40. The internal volume of the drain hose 50 is three times the volume of the introduction chamber 40 or more.
