PISTON COOLING DEVICE

A piston cooling device includes a main body which includes a communication path communicating with an oil passage provided in the internal combustion engine, a nozzle pipe portion which includes an oil injection port for injecting an oil passing through the communication path, toward the piston, and a filter which is provided at an upstream side of the nozzle pipe portion in an oil flow path to filter the oil. The main body includes a cylindrical portion inserted into the oil passage. The filter has a bottomed cylindrical shape in which a filter side surface stands from a filter bottom surface, and is held inside the cylindrical portion. Filter holes are formed in the filter bottom surface and the filter side surface. The filter is disposed such that the filter bottom surface protrudes further upstream side in the oil flow path than a tip end of the cylindrical portion.

FILTER HOUSING

A filter housing is provided. The filter housing includes a circumferential rib provided on an outer surface thereof. The filter housing also includes a first longitudinal rib provided on the outer surface thereof. The first longitudinal rib connects and extends away from the circumferential rib along a length of the filter housing. The first longitudinal rib defines a first thickness thereof. The first thickness tapers towards the circumferential rib. The filter housing further includes a second longitudinal rib provided on the outer surface thereof. The second longitudinal rib is provided opposing the first longitudinal rib. The second longitudinal rib connects and extends away from the circumferential rib along the length of the filter housing. The second longitudinal rib defines a second thickness thereof. The second thickness tapers towards the circumferential rib.

Rotary dust screen

A rotary dust screen for a cooling unit of an agricultural vehicle includes a frame having a ring shape, wherein a dust screen is mounted in the frame and wherein the frame includes a seal extending along the ring and comprising a lip adapted to abut, when the rotary dust screen is mounted on the cooling unit, against a housing of the cooling unit to prevent contaminants from entering the cooling unit at an edge of the dust screen, wherein the rotary dust screen further has a driving belt adapted to be driven by a rotary actuator to rotate the dust screen, wherein the driving belt engages with the rotary dust screen at an outer surface of the seal.

Filters for cooling apparatus

A cooling apparatus for an engine comprising: a) a coolant reservoir comprising a coolant line outlet port; b) a tank for holding an aqueous urea solution for injection into an exhaust system of the engine; c) a coolant line for transferring a coolant fluid discharged from the coolant reservoir via the coolant line outlet port to the tank to enable, in use, heat exchange between the coolant fluid and the aqueous urea solution contained in the tank; d) a coolant control valve located on the coolant line for controlling flow of coolant fluid along the coolant line to the tank; and e) a filter for filtering the coolant fluid being discharged via the coolant line outlet port; wherein the filter comprises a filtering portion that is located within an interior of the coolant reservoir so that the coolant fluid is filtered within the coolant reservoir before the coolant fluid enters the coolant line.

SUGARCANE HARVESTER WITH COOLING INLET DEBRIS REMOVAL SYSTEM

A sugarcane harvester includes a primary cooling system having a heat exchanger. The primary cooling system is operable to circulate a coolant through a power source for absorbing heat from the power source, and circulate a coolant through the heat exchanger for transferring heat from the coolant to a flow of cooling air moving across the heat exchanger. An inlet debris removal system includes an air pump and a nozzle. The air pump generates a flow of cleaning air. The nozzle receives the flow of cleaning air from the air pump and directs the flow of cleaning air across an inlet region of the heat exchanger for cleaning debris from the inlet region to maintain the flow of cooling air across the heat exchanger.
