System and method for cleaning a grille of a work vehicle
A system for cleaning a grille of a work vehicle may include a grille defining an inner side facing towards an interior portion of a work vehicle and an outer side facing towards an exterior of the work vehicle. The system may further include a plurality of nozzles fixed relative to the grille and being directed towards the inner side of the grille. Additionally, the system may include a pressurized fluid source configured to supply pressurized fluid to the plurality of nozzles. The pressurized fluid received by the plurality of nozzles is expelled from the plurality of nozzles and directed through the grille.
Cooling system with debris outlet for a marine engine
A cooling system for a marine engine has a cooling jacket disposed in thermal communication with a heat-emitting portion of the marine engine. The cooling jacket has a water inlet, and a water outlet on an upper portion of the cooling jacket. A pump is connected in fluid communication with the water inlet and/or the water outlet that causes water to flow through the cooling jacket in order to cool the heat-emitting portion, wherein a flow velocity of water in the cooling jacket is low such that debris sinks to a lower portion of the cooling jacket. A debris outlet is in the lower portion of the cooling jacket that expels the debris from the cooling jacket.
OIL, COOLANT, AND EXAUST GAS CIRCULATION SYSTEM, ELEMENTS AND KITS
A system for circulating oil coolant and exhaust gas in an engine including an oil transfer tube, an oil filter cap, and an EGR delete. The oil cap and the oil transfer tube act in conjunction to redirect the oil flow. The EGR delete enables a system to bypass the EGR system in a simple convenient way. The high pressure filter screen is able to filter in high pressure environments. The pump can be used to direct coolant to the coolant manifold. These elements can be provided in a kit that is designed for certain makes of vehicles. A means to manufacture a bypass manifold is also provided.
HEAT EXCHANGER BLOWER SYSTEM
A cleaning system for use with a heat exchanger and a fluid pressurizing assembly includes a wand assembly, a pivot assembly, and a movement mechanism having a body and a piston rod moveable relative the body in response to fluid pressurization. The wand assembly includes a wand in fluid communication with the fluid pressurizing assembly, and having a first orifice configured to eject fluid toward the heat exchanger. The wand is supported by the pivot assembly such that the wand is selectively pivotable about a first pivot axis. The movement mechanism connects to the pivot assembly at a second pivot axis offset from the first pivot axis such that selective movement of the piston rod produces pivotal movement of the wand about the first pivot axis.
AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
An agricultural vehicle including a fluid cooling system for cooling a component onboard the agricultural vehicle. The fluid cooling system including a housing with an air screen, and a cooling unit arranged within the housing, the cooling unit having a cooling fan with a rotational speed, and an aspiration system. The aspiration system being configured to clean debris from the air screen, and includes a wand, a suck-off fan and a controller. The wand and the air screen are arranged to move such that the wand, over a period of time, covers a substantial portion of the air screen. The suck-off fan suck air from the wand and has a rotational speed. The controller is in communication with the suck-off fan and the cooling fan, and is configured to coordinate an increase in the speed of the suck-off fan when the speed of the cooling fan decreases.
Oil, coolant, and exahust gas circulation system, elements and kits
A system for circulating oil coolant and exhaust gas in an engine including an oil transfer tube, an oil filter cap, a bypass manifold, a coolant manifold, an adapter plate, a coolant filter hosing, a high pressure filter screen, a pump, and an EGR delete. The oil cap and the oil transfer tube act in conjunction to redirect the oil flow. The bypass manifold is able to replace an oil heat exchanger in the oil reservoir of an engine. The coolant manifold is able to redirect coolant. The adapter plate is able to be attached to an OEM oil heat exchanger. A coolant filter is able to filter coolant in the system.
Work vehicle
A work vehicle of the present invention includes an engine, a cooling core, a fan, a hydraulic drive unit, and an idle reduction execution unit. The cooling core is mounted in the work vehicle. The fan is configured to blow air to the cooling core and to be capable of making regular and reverse rotations. The hydraulic drive unit is configured to drive the fan by driving the engine. The idle reduction execution unit is configured to stop the engine based on a state of rotation of the fan caused by the hydraulic drive unit and based on an idle state. The idle reduction execution unit stops the engine on a condition that the fan makes regular rotation and the idle state has continued for a predetermined time, and does not stop the engine on a condition that the fan makes reverse rotation.
Heat exchanger blower method
A cleaning system for use with a heat exchanger and a fluid pressurizing assembly includes a wand assembly, a pivot assembly, and a movement mechanism having a body and a piston rod moveable relative the body in response to fluid pressurization. The wand assembly includes a wand in fluid communication with the fluid pressurizing assembly, and having a first orifice configured to eject fluid toward the heat exchanger. The wand is supported by the pivot assembly such that the wand is selectively pivotable about a first pivot axis. The movement mechanism connects to the pivot assembly at a second pivot axis offset from the first pivot axis such that selective movement of the piston rod produces pivotal movement of the wand about the pivot axis.
