WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a machine body, an engine provided on the machine body, a radiator to cool a coolant supplied to the engine, a first fan provided on one directional surface side of the radiator, the first fan being rotatable in either one of a first direction to suck external air to an interior of the machine body and a second direction to generate an air flow for discharging air from the interior of the machine body to an exterior of the machine body, and a second fan provided on the other directional surface side of the radiator and configured to be rotated in the second direction.
Coolant control systems and methods for transmission temperature regulation
A coolant control system of a vehicle includes a pump control module and a coolant valve control module. The pump control module selectively activates a coolant pump. The coolant pump pumps coolant into coolant channels formed in an integrated exhaust manifold (IEM) of an engine. The coolant valve control module selectively actuates a coolant valve that controls coolant flow from the coolant channels formed in the IEM to a transmission heat exchanger based on a first temperature of a transmission and a second temperature of coolant within the integrated exhaust manifold of the engine.
COOLING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A cooling system for a vehicle that includes a temperature detection device for detecting a temperature related to a power transmission apparatus. The cooling system includes a cooling fan and an electronic control apparatus including a load limiting portion configured, when the detected exceeds a limit temperature value, to limit a load applied to the power transmission apparatus. The electronic control apparatus is configured to determine whether the detected temperature is equal to or higher than a fan-cooling temperature value that is lower than the limit temperature value, and to control rotation of the cooling fan, such that the cooling fan is rotated when the detected temperature is not lower than the fan-cooling temperature value, and such that a rotational speed of the cooling fan is higher when a temperature of the power transmission apparatus is high, than when the temperature of the power transmission apparatus is low.
Internal combustion engine coolant flow control
An internal combustion engine includes an engine block, a combustion cylinder including a cylinder wall, engine oil and engine coolant. Control of the internal combustion engine includes estimating the cylinder wall temperature in a temperature state estimator, comparing the estimated cylinder wall temperature to a predetermined temperature threshold, and circulating the engine coolant in the engine when the estimated cylinder wall temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature threshold.
Control method, controller, and control program for controlling lubricating system, computer-readable medium carrying control program, lubricating system, and vehicle
A lubricating system of an engine equipped with an idle reduction system includes an oil cooler, a remotely operable valve configured to open and close a bypass passage that bypasses the oil cooler, and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to perform the steps of: controlling the valve so that a temperature of lubricating oil approaches a target temperature; and lowering the target temperature when an average torque of the engine is less than a predetermined threshold.
Working machine
A working machine includes a prime mover, a hydraulic pump driven by power of the prime mover, a cooler including a cooling fan rotated by either the power of the prime mover or hydraulic fluid delivered from the hydraulic pump, and a controller configured or programmed to perform a reduction control for reducing a target fan rotation speed that is a target rotation speed of the cooling fan in response to reduction of an actual prime mover rotation speed that is an actual rotation speed of the prime mover, and to perform, after the reduction control, a restoration control for restoring the target fan rotation speed. The controller is configured or programmed to make a difference between a reduction rate of the target fan rotation speed in the reduction control and an increase rate of the target fan rotation speed in the restoration control.

An engine control system for an engine includes: a pump control module configured to control a coolant pump; a block control module configured to control opening of a block valve; a fuel control module configured to control fueling of the engine; a coolant control module configured to control a position of a coolant valve; and an adjustment module configured to, when the coolant pump is pumping, the block valve is open, and the coolant valve is positioned such that an input is connected to an output, adjust the fueling of the engine such that fueling of the engine is fuel rich.
HEATING OIL FOR ENHANCED ACTIVE THERMAL COOLANT SYSTEM
A method for thermal management of a motor vehicle engine includes one or more of the following: determining a current lube oil temperature; determining a lube oil temperature for optimal friction; turning on piston cooling jets based on the current lube oil temperature and the lube oil temperature for optimal friction; and turning off the piston cooling jets.
