Warm-up method based on temperature control module, vehicle, and storage medium
A warm-up method based on a temperature control module, a vehicle, and a storage medium. The warm-up method based on the temperature control module comprises: entering a cold start mode; obtaining current temperature control parameters, the temperature control parameters comprising a current water temperature value, a current engine speed, and a current engine load; obtaining working parameters of a temperature control module according to the temperature control parameters; controlling the temperature control module according to the working parameters to adjust the water temperature to warm an engine, and updating the current water temperature value; and after the updated current water temperature value does not exceed a warm-up threshold, returning to the step of obtaining the current temperature control parameters to enter the next cycle.
Engine system
An engine system is provided, including an engine having a water jacket, a circulation system that circulates coolant through the water jacket, and a controller. The circulation system includes a radiator passage including a heat exchanger, a bypass passage bypassing the heat exchanger, a flow rate control device, and a thermally-actuated valve connected to the radiator passage and that opens to allow the coolant to pass through the heat exchanger. When an engine load is below a first load, the controller controls the flow rate control device to adjust the coolant flow rate flowing through the water jacket according to the load, by closing the radiator passage and adjusting the coolant flow rate flowing through the bypass passage. When the load is above the first load, the controller controls the flow rate control device so that the coolant flows through each of the radiator passage and the bypass passage.
Method and system for vehicle cooling systems
Methods and system for operating a vehicle cooling system are described. In one example, the vehicle cooling system cools a heat generating device via a fan and pump. A speed of the fan is commanded by a feedback controller with possible neural network predictive control to track a variable temperature reference that is based on thermal load estimation. A disturbance observer may be applied to observe thermal load and an observer-based observer may be used to generate the temperature reference so that the power consumption of a fan is minimized.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENSET COOLANT CONTROL
Systems and methods for regulating an outlet coolant temperature of a genset and an inlet coolant temperature of the genset are provided. A load condition of the genset may be determined. An operating mode can be selected from between a first mode associated with a first load condition and a second mode associated with a second load condition responsive to determining the load condition of the genset. The first mode and the second mode may be configured to determine a target inlet coolant temperature using one or more control loops. The target inlet coolant temperature may be determined using the selected operating mode, a target outlet coolant temperature and the outlet coolant temperature. The outlet coolant temperature may be regulated based on the determined target inlet coolant temperature and the inlet coolant temperature by adjusting an operation of one or more coolant valves.

Method and system for managing the monitoring of an engine cooling system
Methods and systems for managing a monitoring of an engine cooling system. A transient condition associated with an engine system is identified. A determination is made as to whether the transient condition is a delay condition based on whether the transient condition exceeds a transient threshold. A determination is made, in response to a determination that the transient condition is not the delay condition, as to whether a period of time that has passed since a previously identified delay condition meets a time threshold. Monitoring of a health of the engine cooling system is enabled in response to a determination that the period of time meets the time threshold.
System for fan control
A system for controlling a fan in a vehicle having a heat exchanger may include defining first and second geographic areas and determining a geographic location of the vehicle. A processor may be programmed to send a signal to operate the fan in a first rotational direction to move air through the heat exchanger in a first direction, and to send a signal to the fan to operate it in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction to move air through the heat exchanger in a second direction opposite the first direction when a plurality of conditions are met.
Themostat misdiagnosis prevention method and engine system
A thermostat misdiagnosis prevention method applied to an engine system of the present disclosure applies high speed/high load and low speed/low load, which are divided by a vehicle speed and an engine output detected from the engine system at an engine warm-up temperature of engine coolant, as monitoring conditions of a thermostat, and determines thermostat fail by primarily determining the thermostat fail with the engine coolant temperature of the engine coolant temperature and the outside air temperature detected from the engine system, then confirming a delay time with respect to the outside air temperature, and secondarily determining the thermostat fail with the engine coolant temperature in a monitoring ECU, thereby corresponding to the enhanced OBD together with preventing the misdiagnosis of the thermostat by the fail-safe according to the primary and secondary determinations.
Cooling apparatus of piston and control method thereof
A cooling apparatus of a piston according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may include a piston configured to be formed with a cooling gallery, an inlet fluidly communicated with the cooling gallery, and an outlet fluidly communicated with the cooling gallery, therein, a first oil jet configured to inject cooling oil into the inlet, and a second oil jet configured to inject cooling oil into the outlet.
Methods and systems for high and low temperature coolant circuits
Methods and systems are provided for a cooling arrangement of a hybrid vehicle. In one example, a system comprises a high-temperature coolant circuit with a pressure line shaped to actuate an actuator of a pressure-actuated valve arranged in a low-temperature coolant circuit.
