Abdominal and core exerciser device
According to various embodiments, there is provided a plank exercise device including a support portion adapted to receive arms or hands of a person and adapted to receive a display device, a destabilizer connected to the support portion, and a stationary base adapted to hold the destabilizer.
Configurable Exercise Apparatus
A configurable exercise apparatus with an assembly body that has a top surface for accommodating the palm of a user's hand placed flatly palm down upon the top surface, and a bottom surface; a roller ball positioned within the assembly body with a portion of the roller ball protruding from the bottom surface; and a removable convex cap having an annular extension for insertion into an annular recess formed in the bottom surface about the roller ball, the removable convex cap covering the roller ball when inserted into the annular recess.
Plank assist device
A plank assist device is presented comprising a base and a strap. The base has a first portion for supporting a human palm and a second portion for supporting a portion of a human thumb. The first portion comprises a first portion top surface, a first portion bottom surface, a first portion rear end and a first portion front end. The second portion comprises a second portion top surface, a second portion bottom surface, a second portion rear end and a second portion front end. The second portion is shorter in length and narrower in width than the first portion. In addition, the first portion rear end may be higher in height than the first portion front end, and the second portion rear end may be higher in height than the second portion front end.
Core muscle exercise system
An exercise system is provided for enabling a user to perform therewith a modified plank exercise, the exercise system includes: a top element having an interface for the user to hold or rest thereon; and a bottom element having an interface with a ground surface, the top and bottom elements interconnected and separated from each other with a middle element. At least one of the top and bottom elements is interchangeably coupled to the middle element, and the exercise system includes at least one element of instability that is overcome by involving core muscles of the user.
STATIONARY SLED EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine to facilitate a leg extension exercise by a user. A rigid frame supports a pair of spaced-apart guide rails. A foot plate assembly is adapted to move along the guide rails and includes a foot support surface at a selected angle to support a sole of a foot of the user. A wing flange extends upwardly along an inner side of the foot support surface to align the foot during extension and retraction of the foot plate assembly along the guide rails. Rollers are arranged along each side of the guide rails to support the foot plate assembly. The rollers are arranged into sets of at least three rollers including two upper rollers and at least one lower roller in a triangular configuration. At least one of the lower rollers is offset horizontally from and disposed between the at least two of the upper rollers.
Exercise device and methods
Disclosed is an exercise device having a platform and a roller. The platform has a surface sized and shaped to support a body part of a user and a pair of handles. The roller is coupled to the platform and configured to rotate relative to the platform. The platform is configured to translate in a first direction when the roller rotates in a first direction of rotation and translate in a second direction when the roller rotates in a second direction of rotation.
UPPER AND LOWER BODY RECIPROCATING ARCING MOTION EXERCISE MACHINE WITH AN ADJUSTABLE ANGLE USER SUPPORT
An upper and lower body reciprocating arcing motion exercise machine with an adjustable angle user support frame, left and right lower body user support assemblies having foot platforms and shin support pads mounted on an arcing track for movement along rearward and central portions of the user support frame, and left and right upper body user supports having gripping handles mounted on pivotable levers that move in an arcing motion relative to a forward and central portion of the movable user support frame. A linkage assembly operatively connects and synchronizes the exercise motions of the upper and lower body user support assemblies. In certain embodiments, an adjustable resistance mechanism is operatively engaged with the upper and lower body user supports for providing adjustable resistance to the exercise motion of the upper and lower body user supports.
Multi-use exercise apparatus
A multi-use exercise apparatus is disclosed. The multi-use exercise apparatus and methods of the invention may provide a means for performing both counter or standing push-ups and/or floor push-ups. The multi-use exercise device may include a base member or portion, a foot member or portion, and a hand member or portion.
Workout devices and methods
A workout device that has an arcuate body having first and second ends, and one or more attachment points extending through the body, each attachment point for releasably attaching a load and for releasably attaching an anchor to suspend the workout device.
Human hand-crawling apparatus
A height-adjustable apparatus using a spring to urge forward and rearward undulating whippy locomotion is disclosed. A hand-crawling embodiment having a hand-glove assembly affixed to a base assembly enables users to engage in all-fours crawling locomotion while the body is conventionally situated in a two-legged orientation. One embodiment includes a forearm support bracket mounted at either a permanent or adjustable wrist angle. An internal stabilizer cylinder retainer is also provided to reduce inward pivoting of the internal stabilizer cylinder retainer in the direction of the opposite hand while permitting outward pivoting toward the outside of the device, and front-to-back pivoting toward the front side or backside of the device. A similar foot-bounding embodiment enables walkers, joggers, runners and jumpers to engage in forward and backward whippy locomotion. A crutch embodiment having a similar base assembly enables crippled or injured users to likewise engage in whippy locomotion.
