VARIABLE COMPRESSION RATIO MECHANISM
Provided is a compression ratio varying mechanism, including a communication hole including: a first opening opened in an outer peripheral side surface of a piston rod; and a second opening, which is prevented from being opposed to the first opening in a radial direction of a piston rod, and is connected to an oil passage at a position apart from the first opening in a stroke direction.
Compression ratio control device and engine
A compression ratio control device includes a compression ratio controller configured to control a compression ratio of a combustion chamber so that the maximum combustion pressure approaches a combustion pressure upper limit value (cylinder-internal-pressure upper limit value) based on a detection signal of a detector at least when an engine load is equal to or less than a predetermined load (engine full load).
MARINE ENGINE
Provided is a marine engine, including: an air controller configured to supply compressed air to a combustion chamber in an upstroke of a piston after a crash astern signal is output; a fuel controller configured to stop supply of fuel to the combustion chamber when the crash astern signal is output, and to resume the supply of the fuel after a backward rotation of a crankshaft; and a compression ratio controller configured to move a top dead center position of the piston toward an opposite side of a bottom dead center position of the piston when the crash astern signal is output, and the top dead center position of the piston is on the bottom dead center position side with respect to a predetermined position set in advance.

ENGINE
Provided is an engine, including: a cylinder; a piston accommodated in the cylinder; a combustion chamber facing the piston; a sliding portion (large-diameter portion) configured to perform a stroke motion together with the piston; a hydraulic surface of the sliding portion facing a side opposite to the combustion chamber; a hydraulic chamber, which the hydraulic surface faces; and an auxiliary hydraulic chamber, which communicates with the hydraulic chamber, and has a volume changeable in accordance with a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber.
MIXTURE FORMATION UNIT AND TWO STROKE ENGINE HAVING A MIXTURE FORMATION UNIT
A mixture formation unit has a base body in which an intake channel section is formed. The intake channel section extends from a first end side of the base body to a second end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit has at least one rectilinearly extending channel which opens into the intake channel section. The channel opens at the first end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit is preferably provided for a two stroke engine whose intake channel is divided downstream of the mixture formation unit into a mixture channel and an air channel.

COMPRESSION RATIO VARYING MECHANISM
Provided is a compression ratio varying mechanism, including: a discharge oil passage connected to a first hydraulic chamber; a supply oil passage connected to a hydraulic pump; a pump cylinder including a first oil storage chamber connected to the discharge oil passage and the supply oil passage and a second oil storage chamber partitioned from the first oil storage chamber by a plunger; a branch oil passage connected to the second oil storage chamber; and an orifice provided in the branch oil passage.
Internal combustion engine
An internal combustion engine includes an auxiliary chamber bulkhead, the auxiliary chamber bulkhead including: a peripheral wall portion that is inserted in a vertical hole extending from a combustion chamber along a reference axis and that is in contact with an inner wall of the vertical hole about the reference axis; and a bottom wall portion that is continuous from the peripheral wall portion and that bulges from the vertical hole toward the combustion chamber, the peripheral wall portion and the bottom wall portion defining an auxiliary chamber that communicates with the combustion chamber. An ignition plug is disposed above the peripheral wall portion along the reference axis. A fuel injection valve is disposed in a position inclined with respect to the reference axis toward an opening formed in an inner surface of the peripheral wall portion.
MARINE ENGINE
Provided is a marine engine, including: a piston; and a compression ratio controller configured to execute lowering processing of moving a top dead center position of the piston toward a bottom dead center side when an engine rotation speed falls within a resonance occurrence range set in advance. A geometrical compression ratio is reduced, and a resonance stress caused by a torsional vibration in a rotary system can thus be suppressed while suppressing a decrease in thermal efficiency compared with a case in which retarding control is applied to a fuel injection timing or a closing timing of an exhaust valve.
