ENERGY SYSTEM OR APPARATUS AND METHOD OF ENERGY SYSTEM OR APPARATUS OPERATION OR CONTROL
Presented herein is an energy conversion module containing an internal combustion engine, air compressor, fuel delivery system, waste energy collection system and emission control system. Energy input is controlled via a feedback loop containing an air compressor, carburetor and post-combustion oxygen sensor. Emissions are controlled via the use of a high-efficiency catalytic converter and exhaust gas recirculation system via a feedback from post-catalytic oxygen sensors. Waste heat energy is also collected from both the combustion and catalytic processes via a series of heat exchangers and a high-heat capacity medium.
Exhaust turbocharger
An internal combustion engine (20) has two exhaust valves (24, 25) for each combustion chamber, to permit separation of blow-down and expulsion phases of an exhaust stroke. The separate exhaust streams are directed to different geometries of an exhaust turbocharger (30), so as to make best use thereof. Variable exhaust valve timing, and bypass passage for the exhaust streams are disclosed.

Engine control device and engine control method
A determination is made whether or not the condition that the amount V of condensed water remaining in an intake passage has exceeded a predetermined upper limit has been met, based on an input parameter associated with the amount V. If, during an engine operation in an unsupercharged mode, a determination is made that the condition has been met, a condensed water discharging operation of a supercharger is performed such that the condensed water remaining is discharged to a cylinder of the engine through operation of the supercharger.
Reciprocating engine system with electrically driven compressor and method for operating same
A reciprocating engine system includes a turbocharger system including a mechanically driven compressor, an electrically driven compressor, and a compressor bypass valve. A control system is programmed for generating control signals for: under nominal full load operating conditions, minimizing gas flow through the compressor bypass valve and compressing gas within the electrically driven compressor to maintain a speed set point or a full load power set point of the reciprocating engine system, under off nominal full load operating conditions wherein an efficiency of the mechanically driven compressor is reduced, compressing gas within the electrically driven compressor to compensate for the reduced efficiency of the mechanically driven compressor and to maintain the speed set point or the full load power set point of the reciprocating engine system, and under partial load operating conditions, partially diverting the gas flow through the compressor bypass valve in response to the reduced load.
Gas heat pump system
A gas heat pump system is disclosed. The gas heat pump system includes an air conditioning module including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion device, an indoor heat exchanger and a refrigerant pipe, an engine module including an engine configured to burn a mixture of fuel and air and provide power for operation of the compressor, a cooling module including a cooling water pump configured to generate flow of cooling water for cooling the engine and a cooling water pipe connected to the cooling water pump to guide flow of cooling water. The engine module includes a mixer configured to discharge the mixture of air and fuel to the engine, a supercharger disposed between the mixer and the engine to compress the mixture discharged from the mixer and discharge the mixture to the engine, and an adjuster disposed between the supercharger and the engine to adjust an amount of compressed mixture supplied to the engine.
Supercharger-equipped engine
A supercharged engine includes an engine body, an electric supercharger, a turbocharger, an EGR passage establishing communication between an exhaust passage downstream from a turbine of the turbocharger and an intake passage upstream from a compressor of the turbocharger, a fuel supply unit configured to supply fuel into a cylinder, and a controller configured to open the EGR passage and output a control signal to the electric supercharger to increase a boost pressure of the electric supercharger during acceleration of the vehicle in which an amount of the fuel supplied by the fuel supply unit is increased in response to an acceleration request signal.
EGR PUMP SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD OF EGR PUMP
