A garment attachable to an exercise or therapeutic apparatus that is capable of elevating the user slightly above the ground, reducing potential for injury and strain by shifting the user's weight to the frame of the apparatus. The garment is incorporated into the apparatus by comprising panels under the buttocks and around the thighs, providing balance and lifting the user comfortably in conjunction with the frame. A low-friction plate is positioned under the user's feet so that the user can ambulate freely while held in place by the frame.

A treadmill may include a lift assistance mechanism operative to assist movement of a deck assembly between one or more positions relative to a base frame. A portion of the lift assistance mechanism may translate along a length dimension of the treadmill when inclining the deck assembly. The lift assistance mechanism may assist a user in moving the deck assembly into a storage position and may also assist a deck assembly lift motor in inclining the deck assembly.

An adjustable basketball system is provided. The system includes a sleeve positioned in a substantially vertical orientation with respect to a surface upon which the system rests. The system further includes a post configured to be inserted partially within the sleeve to functionally engage the sleeve. The system further includes a basketball backboard coupled to a portion of the post not inserted within the sleeve, the basketball backboard further including the basketball rim. The system also includes an actuator that is functionally coupled to the sleeve and the post, wherein actuation of the actuator axially transitions the post with respect to the sleeve to reposition the backboard with respect to the surface.

A treadmill may include a lock mechanism operative to selectively lock a deck assembly in one or more positions relative to a base frame. The lock mechanism may include an engagement member that locks the deck assembly in an operating position while allowing incline adjustment of the deck assembly relative to the frame during use of the treadmill.

A retractable sports net system comprising a backdrop having a top portion, middle portion and bottom portion wherein the top portion can be attached to a rotatable tube. A first wheel and a second wheel wherein the first wheel and second wheel are attached to the tube wherein a first guide cable and a second guide cable are attached to the first and second wheel and the bottom portion. A retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system for that is extended outwardly from the wall when in use and retracted towards the wall when not in use. The retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system generally includes a mounting bracket adapted to be attached to a wall, a bench pivotally connected to the mounting bracket that has an extended position and a retracted position, a first support member pivotally attached to the bench and a second support member pivotally attached to the bench. The first surface of the bench is horizontal or inclined when in the extended position to be used as a weightlifting bench. The first surface of the bench is in a substantially vertical position when in the retracted position for compact storage of the bench near the wall.

A retractable wall mounted exercise rack system for providing an exercise rack that may be easily and compactly stored when not in use. The retractable wall mounted exercise rack system generally includes one or more brackets attached to a wall, a pair of support members, and a plurality of arms pivotally extending from the brackets and pivotally connecting to the support members. One or more actuators are connected between the brackets and the arms to assist in lifting the structure into a compact retracted position for storage.

An adjustable weight lifting bench includes a frame, a seat pad, and a back pad. The back pad is pivotably coupled to the frame about a first pivot axis and angularly adjustable between a plurality of user-selectable incline and decline positions. A hydraulic mechanism supports the back pad in the incline and decline positions. A movable operating lever operably coupled to the hydraulic mechanism operates to change the mechanism between an activated condition in which the back pad is movable and a deactivated condition in which the back pad locks into a selected one of the positions. When the mechanism is in activated condition, applying pressure against the back pad the lowers the back pad and removing the pressure raises the back pad. In one embodiment, the mechanism automatically raises the back pad when the pressure is removed and the mechanism is in the deactivated condition.

A retractable wall mounted exercise rack system for providing an exercise rack that may be easily and compactly stored when not in use. The retractable wall mounted exercise rack system generally includes one or more brackets attached to a wall, a pair of support members, and a plurality of arms pivotally extending from the brackets and pivotally connecting to the support members. One or more actuators are connected between the brackets and the arms to assist in lifting the structure into a compact retracted position for storage.
