Automated engine cleaning system and method
The present invention relates to an automated washing system for an internal combustion engine, comprising: a control system, operative to monitor the engine and automatically initiate a washing cycle; a water tank with a heating element to heat water within the water tank; set of air compressor cleaning injectors connected to the water tank; a set of air cooler cleaning injectors connected to the water tank; a set of air intake port/valve cleaning injectors connected to the water tank; wherein the air compressor cleaning injectors and the air cooler cleaning injectors are operated simultaneously during a washing cycle.
Systems for the Reduction of Intake Valve Deposits and Methods
The invention includes a system to reduce deposits from a surface of an intake valve, preferably in a GDI engine. The system includes a delivery device having a reservoir for holding a cleaning agent. The reservoir has a body that defines an interior space, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the interior space of the reservoir body. The delivery device has a delivery conduit that extends from the outlet port and terminates at a distal end. The proximal end of the delivery conduit is in fluid communication with the outlet port. An actuator having an open position and a closed position is included in the delivery device. Upon activation of the actuator from a closed position to an open position, a portion of the cleaning agent flows from the interior space through the outlet port and is delivered under pressure to distal end of the delivery conduit.
INTAKE CLEANER AND DISPENSE MECHANISM
An apparatus for cleaning an intake system of an engine includes a pressure-resistant container having a reservoir chargable with an engine cleaner composition and a discharge orifice for discharging the engine cleaner composition from the reservoir. The apparatus also includes a dispensing assembly including an assembly inlet connectable to the discharge orifice of the pressure-resistant container for receiving the engine cleaner composition discharged from the pressure-resistant container. The dispensing assembly further includes an assembly outlet, and a length of tubing for receiving the engine cleaner composition from the dispensing assembly. The apparatus further includes a timer configured to control a timed valve that, when opened, allows the engine cleaner composition to discharge from the pressure-resistant container. The timer is configured to delay opening of the timed valve for a predetermined period of time after actuation of the timer.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING INDUSTRIAL PARTS
A cleaning apparatus includes a wash chamber, a platform and a lid. The platform is disposed in the chamber and sized to support an engine block. The lid has a first portion rotatably coupled to the wash chamber and a second portion rotatably coupled to the first portion. When the first portion of the lid is disposed in a position rotated distal to the wash chamber, the second portion of the lid is disposed in a position rotated proximal to the first portion of the lid. When the first portion of the lid is disposed in a position rotated proximal to the wash chamber, the second portion of the lid is disposed in a position rotated distal to the first portion of the lid.

Dual chemical induction cleaning method and apparatus for chemical delivery
This invention relates to the field of induction cleaning, more particularly to chemically cleaning the induction system of the internal combustion engine. The carbon that accumulates within the induction tract of the internal combustion engine is very difficult to remove. Chemically these carbon deposits are very close to that of asphalt or bitumen. It has been found that if the induction cleaning chemicals are delivered in timed layered intervals the removal of such induction carbon can be accomplished. The Dual Solenoid Induction Cleaner uses electronically controlled solenoids to deliver at least two different chemistries in alternating layers to the engine's induction system. These electric solenoids are connected to a single induction cleaner nozzle. The induction cleaner nozzle is slipped through the vacuum port opening into the inside of the induction system where it will spray an aerosol of the chemistry directly into the moving air column entering the engine.
High power clutch with cleaning features
A method of cleaning a clutch included in a drive train is disclosed in this paper. The method includes dispensing a cleaning agent, preferably a foamed cleaning agent, into the clutch. The clutch optionally includes clutch plates with evacuation channels formed in the clutch plates designed to carry cleaning agent and/or debris away from engagement surfaces of the clutch plates.
Apparatus and method for engine cleaning
An apparatus configured to perform a static and a dynamic cleaning of an engine at the same time or separately, as well as to back-flush the oil pump screen of the engine, air purging the engine and prime the engine with oil before filling the engine with the required oil amount. The apparatus has a holding tank for storing a cleaning solution, a pump, an oil drain adapter configured to connect the apparatus to the oil drain of the engine, a transfer tank and an oil filter adapter connected to a first and a second conduit. The pump is selectively in fluid communication with the holding tank, to pump the cleaning solution from the holding tank into the engine, and with the oil drain to draw the cleaning solution out of the engine.
Fuel injector tester/cleaner kit and method of use
A pneumatic and hydraulic testing and cleaning kit for gasoline type fuel injectors used in electronic fuel injection systems on most cars today. The tester/cleaner apparatus includes a stand with pneumatic quick disconnect for applying air and a solvent in pulses at 35 to 55 psi to clean dirty fuel injectors.
