SMART SPORT DEVICE
An Internet of Thing (IoT) sport device includes a body with a processor, a camera and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
Exercise and Communication System and Associated Methods
An exercise and communications system includes an interactive device, a remote device, and an external device, wherein the interactive device is configured to gather data relating to a user of the system and transmit the same to the remote device, and the remote device is configured to provide analyze the data and transmit a response to the interactive device, which in turn communicates the response to the user and additionally communication with an external device for retrieval of instructions, programs, and data, inter alia. An exercise and communications system facilitates communication between a plurality of users, each having an interactive device and a remote device.
Footwear having sensor system
A shoe has a sensor system operably connected to a communication port. Performance data is collected by the system and can be transferred for further use via the communication port. The shoe may contain an electronic module configured to gather data from the sensors. The module may also transmit the data to an external device for further processing. Users can use the collected data for a variety of different uses or applications.
Video rebroadcasting with multiplexed communications and display via smart mirrors
During a first time period and for a first user, a second user is automatically selected based on competitive data of the first user and competitive data of the second user, and a workout selection is sent to cause a video of a workout to be displayed during a second time period on a smart mirror of the first user and a smart mirror of the second user. During the second time period, a live stream of the first user exercising is displayed at the smart mirror of the second user, and a live stream of the second user exercising is received and displayed at the smart mirror of the first user. During the second time period, a performance score of the first user and a performance score of the second user is displayed at the smart mirrors of the first user and the second user.
Portable system including motorized base controller and transmitter for tracking a moving target
A system including a motorized base unit with a smart device mount for automatically orienting the smart device camera toward a moving target to track the moving target and take pictures or video. The target (e.g., a child playing soccer) wears a tracking tag comprising a GPS chip and transmitter packaged inside an athletic pad. The base unit includes a motorized mast for mounting a smart device. The base unit receives the transmitted GPS data, calculates updated pointing angle and angular velocity for the smart phone based on update location information from the remote tag sensor, calculates the correct angle that the smart phone should be pointed at, translates the new pointing directions to a control signal that turns the mast, which in turn causes the smart device camera to “follow” or track the target.
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT WITH INTERACTIVE REAL ROAD SIMULATION
An intelligent interactive real road simulation training device that simulates the real road grade and slope change while playing video based on the geographic location of the road from the pre-processed video and the speed of the user. With the video playing, the user sees the road moving as the user moves, and the speed of the road moving by is based upon the user's speed on the exercise training equipment. The user also feels the grade and slope change as the road grade and slope changes on the video. The invention can be integrated into any exercise training equipment such as a bicycle trainer or treadmill.
Treadmill having adjustable inclination
A treadmill may include two separate left and right belts rotating around two sets of rollers, four legs having an adjustable height via air suspension to customize an inclination of the treadmill, a thermoelectric assembly, a fragrance assembly having a rotating fragrance cartridge to emit various smells toward a user of the treadmill, a display on which exercise programs are played, and an attachment module having a dispensing tray on which treats are dispensed. A handle of the treadmill may have a sensor to sense a height and front-rear position, and a belt divider provided between the left and right belts may have position or proximity sensors to sense a left-right position. An inclination of the treadmill may be automatically adjusted according to positions detected by the sensors, and the fragrance assembly, attachment module, and inclination may be automatically operated in accordance with an exercise program played on the display.
DISTANCE RECOMMENDATION DEVICE FOR GOLF, CAPABLE OF GENERATING RECOMMENDED DISTANCE AT THIRD LOCATION
A distance recommendation device for golf is proposed. As a method for providing a recommended distance from a ball to a target at a third location by the distance recommendation device for the golf, there is provided a distance recommendation method that includes obtaining position information of the ball positioned in each hole, obtaining position information of the target positioned in each hole, and generating a recommended shot distance from the ball to the target on the basis of the obtained information.
METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A method includes obtaining position information relating to an object in a sporting event, determining, based on the position information, that a start event has occurred, wherein the start event indicates a start of play of the sporting event, and generating, according to a result of the determination, an instruction to start storing position information relating to the object.
SYSTEM OF AND METHOD FOR SCORING GOLF
A system for and method of scoring a game of golf is provided. A stroke baseline, a points baseline, and a stroke count are utilized to calculate a hole score for each hole. The stroke baseline is typically derived from the par value for a hole, while the stroke count is typically the total strokes required to complete the hole, including any penalty strokes. Typically, the points baseline for each hole is equal to the distance, in yards, between the player's tee-up location and a target location of the hole, the target location being a location on the putting green. Each player selects a tee-up location for each hole, thereby allowing each player to influence the baseline score for each hole. A performance factor is determined for each hole based on the player's performance on that hole.
