SPORTS TRAINING SYSTEM
A sports training device includes a glove with a main body. The main body has a palm portion and a back portion. The main body is configured to receive a hand of a user. A plurality of finger receptacles is disposed on the main body. Each finger receptacle of the plurality of finger receptacles has a proximal end disposed adjacent to the main body and a distal end disposed opposite the proximal end. The plurality of finger receptacles includes a thumb receptacle, a first finger receptacle, and a second finger receptacle. Each of the distal end of the thumb receptacle, the distal end of the first finger receptacle, and the distal end of the second finger receptacle are open. A sensor is disposed on the glove and is configured to monitor a release of an object to be thrown.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RESISTANCE CALIBRATION AND DIGITIZATION FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A system and method for using resistance type exercise machines is provided. One embodiment provides a tailored resistance level (TRL) that indicates a resistance level for that particular user and that particular exercise machine. The TRL, calculated for a particular user and a particular exercise machine, is based on three concurrently measured variables: the user biometric (such as heart rate), cadence of the user's effort, and measured resistance value (measured as the degrees of angular rotation of the resistance knob 104 of the exercise machine).
Putting Training Device
A putting training device attachment including a shaft mount for mounting on a putter shaft; a pendulum assembly mounted on the mount; an indicating gauge connected to the pendulum assembly for indicating a preferred track for the pendulum. A putter is described for training.
Method, system and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium for measuring ball spin
According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for measuring ball spin, the method comprising the steps of: detecting information on a mark appearing in a region corresponding to a ball hit by a user in each of a plurality of images in which the ball is photographed; determining whether it is possible to directly calculate physical quantities related to spin of the ball on the basis of the information on the mark; and when it is determined that it is not possible to directly calculate the physical quantities related to spin of the ball on the basis of the information on the mark, estimating the physical quantities related to spin of the ball on the basis of physical quantities related to at least one of a speed and an angle of the ball or a club hitting the ball.
Body joystick for interacting with virtual reality or mixed reality machines or software applications
A system and method for using a body joystick to interact with a virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications that uses a support arm to hold a device for attaching the body joystick to a user's body, a sensor for detecting movement, and a tether and actuator for providing feedback to the user about interactions with the virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MINIMALLY INTRUSIVE DISPLAYS WITH HEART RATE MONITORING AND WORKOUTS
A system includes a minimally intrusive display system (MIDS) configured to be disposed on an eyewear. The MIDS includes a display system and a sensor system configured to provide for a sensor data. The MIDS further includes a processor configured to download a workout and to process the sensor data to monitor a user wearing the MIDS during the workout. The processor is further configured to display, via the display system, a workout progress based on the monitoring.
SPORTS TARGET DEVICE FEATURING ELASTIC RETURN MECHANISM
A target assembly that is configured to withstand high-velocity impact from a projectile. These configurations may comprise elastic members, or “bungee” cords, that generate elastic forces to return the target assembly to its orientation prior to impact. The bungee cords are less likely to undergo inelastic deformation; so these components afford the target assembly with longer life or longevity under heavy duty cycles.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING FOR GENERATING ALIGNMENT PLANS TO ALIGN A USER WITH AN IMAGING SENSOR DURING A TREATMENT SESSION
Systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums for generating, by an artificial intelligence engine, one or more alignment plans for aligning a user with an imaging sensor. The method comprises generating one or more machine learning models trained to identify alignment plans. The method also comprises receiving user data and determining that a targeted portion of a body of the user is outside of a field of view of the imaging sensor. The method further comprises generating the one or more alignment plans using the one or more machine learning models. Each of the one or more alignment plans comprises a target location within the field of view of the imaging sensor and one or more elements for adjusting the targeted portion of the body from a first location to the target location. The method also comprises transmitting the one or more alignment plans to a computing device.
TRAINING DEVICE AND BARBELL
A training device for strength training is capable of performing through use of a barbell, the training device including: a frame body; a support body configured to support the barbell from below; moving means for moving the support body to ascend and descend along the frame body; control means for controlling the moving means; and state detecting means for detecting a state of the barbell or a user, wherein the control means is configured to control the moving means based on a detection signal detected by the state detecting means. With the training device, various kinds of free-weight training can be solely and safely performed.
Football training tool
Embodiments of the present invention are related to a football training tool with an angled head, a rectangular frustum body, a pair of upper lateral rails, a pair of bottom lateral rails and a bottom. The upper later rails, defined as arms, include foot angle guides. The football training tool may also include a top alignment notch on its head and a bottom alignment notch on its bottom.
