Hippotherapy device
A hippotherapy device includes a saddle for receiving a person thereon, a programmable movement control, and an automatic movement device for automatically moving the saddle according to a movement pattern program. The program specifies a sequence of target values of positions and orientations of the saddle in the locality of the movement device in order to execute the movement pattern. The hippotherapy device further includes a person securing device having a main support on which a body strap is mounted, at least one sensor for detecting at least one physical variable characterizing the body posture of the person on the saddle, and an auxiliary control device configured to compare expected values of the physical variable with current values of the physical variable detected by the sensor, and to trigger an associated safety function, if a deviation of the current values from the expected values exceeds a predetermined tolerance threshold.
Mag-Lev Limb Training Device
A device for training and rehabilitation of a limb is provided. The device provides a board with an ability to magnetically levitate a movement base above the board to allow for controlled movement of a limb or other body part of a user needing training and rehabilitation in various directions.
Systems and methods for minimally intrusive displays
A system includes a minimally intrusive display system (MIDS) configured to be disposed on an eyewear. The MIDS includes a display system and a sensor system configured to provide for a sensor data. The MIDS further includes a processor configured to process the sensor data to derive an activity metric. The processor is further configured to display, via the display system, the activity metric, wherein the display system is disposed in the eyewear so that the activity metric is only viewed when a user of the eyewear turns the user's pupil towards the display system at angle α from a forward direction.
PEDALING EXERCISE DEVICE
A pedaling exercise device includes a rotation mechanism configured to pivotally support a rotation shaft to allow rotation, a pair of cranks having first ends connected to both ends of the rotation shaft of the rotation mechanism, respectively, a pair of links having first ends rotatably connected to second ends of the cranks, respectively, and having second ends provided with wheels, respectively, a pair of pedal portions connected to the links along a longitudinal direction of the links, respectively, a rolling surface connected to a first end of the rotation mechanism on a user side, and a restriction portion configured to restrict separation of the wheels from the upper surface of the rolling surface in a case where the first end of the rotation mechanism is lifted such that the rotation mechanism is erected in a state where a second end of the rotation mechanism is grounded.
LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR GAMIFICATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF AESTHETICS OF EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A system for gamification and enhancement of aesthetics of exercise equipment, comprising: a control box; a weight rack; and, at least one light attached in or on the weight rack and in operative communication with the control box.
MOTOR POWERED LIFTING RACK SYSTEM
A motorized lifting rack that selectively lifts and lowers a barbell through linear actuators is provided. The powered lifting rack can engage a barbell at floor level. The linear actuators can also selectively raise and lower safety bars design to “spot” the barbell for a single user. The powered lifting rack is embodied in a system that includes a platform that the safety bars can nest in. The platform provides a plurality of actuating benches for a user of the barbell to utilize.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DISPLAYING EXERCISE INFORMATION
An exercise bar is provided. The exercise bar includes a handle tube with a longitudinal interior bore. The handle tube has a first end and a second end. A center shaft has an outer surface. The center shaft is fitted through the longitudinal interior bore exposing a first end portion of the center shaft at the first end of the handle tube and exposing a second end portion of the center shaft at the second end of the handle tube. A sensor is disposed on a mounting section of the outer surface of the center shaft between the first and second portion of the center shaft. A processor is disposed in an interior of the exercise bar. The sensor is in electronic communication with the processor in the exercise bar.
USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
System for aligning shoulders and spine for sports training
Posture training systems provide hands-free shoulder and back\spine alignment assistance for facilitating correct posture and alignment of the shoulders and spine of an athlete throughout swing or other physical rotational movements, and methods of their use. The posture training systems include vests that provide information during and throughout the rotational movement about spine-tilt angle relative to the ground, plane of the shoulders during torso rotation, perpendicularity between the spine and a line drawn between the shoulders, as well as departures from or maintenance of any of the initial parameters.
MUSCLE ACTIVITY OUTPUT SYSTEM
A muscle activity output system includes: a muscle activity database configured to hold movable part attitude information and muscle activity information in such a manner that the movable part attitude information and the muscle activity information are linked to each other; and a processor. The movable part attitude information indicates an attitude of a movable part of training equipment. The muscle activity information indicates a muscle activity of each of muscle sites of the exerciser. The processor is configured to acquire the movable part attitude information while the exerciser is moving the body along the trajectory, acquire current muscle activity information for each of the muscle sites based on current movable part attitude information of the training equipment and the muscle activity database, and output the current muscle activity information for each of the muscle sites.
