RESISTANCE ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM FOR STATIONARY EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A resistance adjustment system for adjusting a resisting force to a flywheel of a stationary exercise equipment is provided, including a resistance control circuit, a manual adjustment member, a power unit, a transmission assembly, and a resistance device. The power unit is in electrical connection with the resistance control circuit, wherein, in response to receipt of a resistance adjustment signal from the manual adjustment member, the resistance control circuit generates a driving signal to drive the power unit. The power unit then moves the resistance device via a transmission assembly to cause a change of the resisting force to the flywheel.
Tethered resistance swim training apparatus with smart pulley
The present invention is a tethered resistance swim training apparatus with a pulley that includes an electronic tachometer to measure the rotations of the wheel of the pulley and strain gauge to measure the force pulling on the body of the pulley. The pulley, also referred to as “smart pulley”, can be implemented in many tethered swim training apparatuses of different arrangements. With the tachometer and strain gauge the power and other performance metrics can be calculated while a swimmer is using the apparatus. A load cell or similar can be used in place of a strain gauge. The sensors may be connected via wired or wireless communications to a computer (tablet, laptop, personal computer, server, or the like) for processing of the signals and display on an electronic display.
COACHING, ASSESSING OR ANALYSING UNSEEN PROCESSES IN INTERMITTENT HIGH-SPEED HUMAN MOTIONS, INCLUDING GOLF SWINGS
The system automatically or partly automatically coaches and assesses a non-putting golf swing to increase the strength or distance of the swing. Increases are coached in the components of energy generated across specific individual joints of the player's body during the downswing. Increases are also coached in the efficiency at which the generated energy is transmitted to the clubhead. Fast or near-instantaneous feedback is provided to the player, based on measured changes in the components of energy generated in the specific individual joints and on the efficiency at which the generated energy is transmitted to the clubhead. Changes in 3D positions of the player's body segments or joints are tracked by inertial sensors or optical sensors and used in the calculation of the components of energy generated across the specific individual joints utilising an artificial intelligence system.
COMPACT HIGH RESISTANCE FITNESS DEVICE
A compact high resistance fitness device for superior independent exercising or individual rehabilitation is disclosed including a platform base plate having at least one pivotally mounted resistance module attached to the platform base plate, where the at least one resistance module has an independent user-selectable resistance setting with incremental resistance force ranges of from about 5 pounds up to 500 pounds. The resistance module includes a pull cord coil storage spool configured to wrap and unwrap a pull cord of a small diameter, high-strength pull cord emanating from the resistance module. The high strength pull cord terminates at its outer end by a handle, such as a hand/foot receptacle, with a length sufficient to allow pull strokes of up to fifty feet or more, with as much weight resistance as a user could want in a compact and portable unit, capable of being taken anywhere for use. Of special interest is that the fitness device may include sensors and other means for collecting data and relaying that data to a smartphone, a computer, the cloud or any other device for display and processing.
Motion analyzer for sports equipment
A motion analyzer for attachment to sports equipment. The motion analyzer may be constructed as one unitary piece and may include a base portion and an upper portion. The motion analyzer may collect and record motion data associated with movement of the sports equipment. The motion data may then be communicated to a mobile application which provides a user with a visual representation of the motion of the sports equipment. Further, a method of manufacturing a motion analyzer for attachment to sports equipment.
Weight training equipment with adjustable handle angle
A weight training equipment includes: a base frame that sits on the ground; a chair provided on the upper portion of the base frame and on which an exercising person may sit; first and second exercise bars that are hinge-coupled to both sides of the front of the chair and formed so as to be pushed or pulled forward and backward by the exercising person; a weight part providing weight and composed of a connection bar, which is connected to one side of the first and second exercise bars, and a weight member formed on the connection bar; and a torsion angle adjusting means for adjusting the torsion angle by rotating the first and second exercise bars.
Programmable range of motion system
A programmable range of motion system has a frame, a range of motion device, a controller, a computer and sensors. The frame has a seat to support a rehab patient. The range of motion device is attached to the frame. The actuator, servo or alternate mechanism selectively rotates the range of motion device through a range of motion for a rehab patient's limb. The controller controls the actuator, servo or alternate mechanism. The computer is connected electronically to the controller. The computer has a software, program or application including a plurality of programmable range of motion movements for exercising the limb. The sensor detects movements of the actuator, servo or alternate mechanism and records data back to the computer. The term actuator as used hereafter includes servo or alternate articulating mechanism.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE
An electromechanical device for rehabilitation includes a motor and a control system including one or more processing devices operatively coupled to the motor. The one or more processing devices are configured to, responsive to a first trigger condition occurring, control the motor to operate in a passive mode, responsive to a second trigger condition occurring, control the motor to operate in an active-assisted mode, and responsive to a third trigger condition occurring, control the motor, by providing resistance, to operate in a resistive mode.
Sports training system
A sports training device includes a glove with a main body. The main body has a palm portion and a back portion. The main body is configured to receive a hand of a user. A plurality of finger receptacles is disposed on the main body. Each finger receptacle of the plurality of finger receptacles has a proximal end disposed adjacent to the main body and a distal end disposed opposite the proximal end. The plurality of finger receptacles includes a thumb receptacle, a first finger receptacle, and a second finger receptacle. Each of the distal end of the thumb receptacle, the distal end of the first finger receptacle, and the distal end of the second finger receptacle are open. A sensor is disposed on the glove and is configured to monitor a release of an object to be thrown.
