Data collecting head guard systems and methods thereof
A head guard is provided. The head guard includes one or more sensors as part of an sensory input and communications system. The head guard wirelessly communicates data to remote computing devices for intelligent data collection.
Electronic device and method for controlling the electronic device
A method for adjusting a working state of an electronic device includes setting a reasonable value range of feature data of a user, and acquiring current feature data of the user from the camera device. The current feature data is compared to the reasonable value range of feature data. A working state of the electronic device is changed when the current feature data is out of the reasonable value range of feature data.
System and method of continously tracking at least one competitor on an athletics track
A system and method for continuously tracking a competitor on an athletics track, including: a wireless transmitter operable to wirelessly submit a query provided with a timestamp, a wearable transponder attachable to the competitor, and configured to receive the query, to generate a transponder specific response and to wirelessly transmit the response, stationary receivers distributed across or around the athletics track. Each of the stationary receivers is configured to receive the transponder specific response and to determine a runtime, which is indicative of a point in time relative to the timestamp at which the transponder specific response has been received by the respective stationary receiver. A processor is connected to the stationary receivers and is configured to determine a position of the wearable transponder relative to the athletics track or relative to the stationary receivers on the basis of the runtimes received from the stationary receivers.
Training apparatus
A training apparatus includes an operating rod, a strength detector, a motion position detector, a strength speed calculator, a boundary line arrival speed calculator, and a motion speed calculator. The operating rod moves a held limb. The strength detector outputs a strength component signal based on a magnitude of a strength component. The motion position detector detects a motion position of the operating rod. The strength speed calculator calculates a strength speed. The boundary line arrival speed calculator calculates a boundary line arrival speed whose absolute value is smaller as a boundary line distance is shorter. The motion speed calculator calculates a lower one of the strength speed and the boundary line arrival speed as the motion speed at which the operating rod should move.
Motorless treadmill
There is provided a motorless treadmill. The motorless treadmill includes: a motorless track having a curved shape such that an inclination angle increases with respect to a ground surface toward a front end and a rear end of the motorless track, and configured to move around a closed path by a user's footsteps; and a pair of side covers disposed on two opposing sides of the motorless track, wherein the motorless track changes movement speed according to a location at which the user steps on the motorless track, and wherein, on at least one side cover of the pair of side covers, a speed-related indicator is disposed to indicate information related to the movement speed of the motorless track.
CYCLING DETECTION METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A cycling detection method, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The cycling detection method includes: obtaining an acceleration signal and an angular velocity signal collected by a wearable device of a user's foot, and analyzing a time-domain feature of the acceleration signal, a frequency-domain feature of the acceleration signal, a time-domain feature of the angular velocity signal, and/or a frequency-domain feature of the angular velocity signal; filtering the acceleration signal and the angular velocity signal to obtain a target acceleration signal and a target angular velocity signal of the user's cycling if it is determined, based on an analysis result, that a current status of the user is a cycling state; and determining a behavior feature of the user's cycling based on the target acceleration signal and the target angular velocity signal, where the behavior feature includes a cadence feature and a foot posture feature.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING EXERCISE LOAD VARIATIONS IN A STRENGTH EXERCISE MACHINE AND EXERCISE MACHINE IMPLEMENTING SUCH METHOD
A method for controlling exercise load variations in a strength exercise machine, includes, at a current time instant t.sub.i, detecting an exercise position within a set range of motion of a user, and checking if a previously set trigger condition of an exercise load variation includes the detected exercise position of the user within the set range of motion. If a previously set trigger condition of an exercise load variation includes the detected exercise position of the user within a respective range of motion, the method includes setting a trigger condition of an exercise load variation as the current trigger condition of exercise load variation having a first speed threshold for execution of motion by the user, and reducing an exercise load based on a comparison of speed for execution of motion by the user and the first speed threshold.
A BALL STRIKING TRAINING SIMULATOR
The present invention pertains to a ball-striking aid apparatus or simulator that includes a chassis for holding a ball and allowing rotation thereof, one or more sensors for detecting one or more ball stroke parameters and optionally a computing device being in communication with the one or more sensors and adapted to provide an input with respect to the one or more parameters.
POWER SHORTS FOR FITNESS AND REHABILITATION
A unitary exercise device that provides exercise of the core muscles and legs of a user over a full range of motion in performing various physical activities by providing simultaneous counter-balancing tension to the core muscles and legs of the user as he is engaged in performance of the selected physical activity. The exercise device comprises a waist loop, left and right thigh loops, left and right rear and front straps, all of which are elastic materials heat-fused or sewn together to provide an exercise device specifically designed for a specific user. When worn by a user, the elastic rear and front straps of the exercise device provide counter-balancing tension to various muscle groups and legs of the user, dependent on the physical activity being performed, which over time with repetitive use and practice will provide improved performance or rehabilitation to the user when performing subsequently without the exercise device.
DATA COLLECTING HEAD GUARD SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
A head guard is provided. The head guard includes one or more sensors as part of an sensory input and communications system. The head guard wirelessly communicates data to remote computing devices for intelligent data collection.
