Planetary gear and gas turbine engine
A planetary gearbox includes a planet carrier, with a planetary gear rotatably disposed on the planet carrier, and a gear that meshes with the planetary gear, as well as a gas turbine engine having such a planetary gearbox. The planet carrier has an oil supply installation including a supply line for oil to an opening. The oil is directed out of the opening in the direction of the planetary gear and/or the gear. The oil supply installation in relation to a primary rotating direction of the planetary gear and/or the gear in front of the opening includes a shielding region which protrudes from an external side of the oil supply installation and which by way of the external side of the oil supply installation on a side that faces the primary rotating direction of the planetary gear and/or the gear, delimits an oil collection groove.
MIDSHAFT RATING FOR TURBOMACHINE ENGINES
A turbomachine engine includes a fan section having a fan shaft, and a core engine having one or more compressor sections, one or more turbine sections that includes a power turbine, and a combustion chamber in flow communication with the compressor sections and turbine sections. The turbomachine engine includes a low-speed shaft coupled to the power turbine and having a midshaft that extends from a forward bearing to an aft bearing. The low-speed shaft is characterized by a midshaft rating (MSR) between two hundred (ft/sec).sup.½ and three hundred (ft/sec).sup.½. The low-speed shaft has a redline speed between fifty and two hundred fifty feet per second (ft/sec). The turbomachine engine includes a gearbox assembly that couples the fan shaft to the low-speed shaft and characterized by a gearbox assembly mode less than 95% of a midshaft mode of the midshaft or greater than 105% of the midshaft mode.
Transmission and method for control of boost spool
A gas turbine engine includes a first spool rotationally coupled to a plurality of accessories via a first gearing and a second spool rotationally coupled to a third spool via a second gearing. The first gearing and the second gearing rotate independently and are enclosed within a housing of an accessory gearbox. A method of operating the gas turbine engine includes supplying a first fuel flow rate to a primary combustor associated with the first and third spools and supply a second fuel flow rate a secondary combustor associated with the second spool based on a power lever angle within an intermediate power level range.
Automobile engine
The present invention provides a power device generating greater propelling force and finds that traditional power devices do not include all propelling forces based on the fundamental core propelling force source problem. External pressure is guided to the traditional power devices since the inner speed is higher the outer speed, power consumption for overcoming fluid resistance is high, and mutual contradiction results are obtained. The unique difference between the present invention and general common sense lies in opposite fluid pressure directions; inner fluid channels and outer fluid channels with higher flow speeds are formed to generate pressure differences which guides the fluid pressure to the outside and serve as propelling force, and thus the present invention creatively finds three propelling force sources, two lifting force or propelling force sources of helicopters or airplanes driven by propellers and two propelling force sources for sufficient burning of fuel in combustion chambers of engines.

Casing
A gas turbine engine comprising a planetary gear train, and a core engine casing. The gear train has a ratio of greater than approximately 3.0, with an input to the gear train being operatively connected to the compressor section, and an output from the gear train being operatively connected to the fan. The core engine casing encloses the compressor section and the turbine section. The fan has a diameter F, and the core engine casing has a diameter C. The core engine casing diameter C varies along an axial length of the core engine casing, and a ratio (C/F) of the core engine casing diameter C to the fan diameter F is within the range 0.2<(C/F)<0.4, along an axial length of the core engine casing.
