Disposable Alternating Tangential Flow Filtration Units
Disclosed herein are robust disposable alternating tangential flow (ATF) housing and diaphragm pump units and associated methods of manufacturing, testing, wetting, and using the same.
SYSTEMS FOR DYNAMIC RESISTANCE TRAINING
Systems and methods for dynamic resistance training are provided that include the use of a dynamic force module. The dynamic force module includes an actuator and controller adapted to control the actuator according to a force profile that specifies the relationship between an operational parameter of the actuator and a measured parameter associated with a user performing an exercise. The dynamic force module is also capable of communicating with a broader network system to facilitate storing and distribution of force profiles and user profile information. The network system further includes features for, among other things, generating and managing force profiles, uploading multimedia content, and tracking user progress.
BENDABLE EXERCISE BAR
An exercise device comprising a bendable pole with spring-like properties. The bendable pole has grips at opposing ends and in a midsection. The exercise device is configured to be used for a variety of exercise methods. The exercise device provides personal fitness tracking in conjunction with a mobile software application.
Exercise machine with pancake motor
An exercise machine is disclosed. The exercise machine comprises a pancake motor. The exercise machine comprises a torque controller coupled to the pancake motor. The exercise machine comprises a high resolution encoder coupled to the pancake motor.
TREADMILL ARRANGEMENT WITH MOTION-ADAPTIVE VIRTUAL RUNNING ENVIRONMENT
A treadmill arrangement, having a treadmill stand and an endless belt which runs over rollers mounted in the treadmill stand and is driven by a drive, with one surface of the endless belt serving as a walking or running surface. A motion state detection device is allocated to the treadmill to detect a motion state or a positional change of the legs and/or feet of the user relative to the treadmill stand and to obtain a control signal for the drive.
STRENGTH TRAINING AND EXERCISE PLATFORM
An exercise device includes a base defining an inner volume and a top supported by the base, the top defining an aperture. The exercise device further includes a force sensor configured to measure force on the top and a motor disposed within the base and below the top, the motor including a cable extendable through the aperture. The exercise deice further includes a controller communicatively coupled to each of the force sensor and the motor. The controller is adapted to actuate the motor in response to forces applied to the top as measured by the force sensor. The controller may also actuate the motor in response to one or more additional parameters related to the speed or force with which the cable is manipulated (e.g., pulled by a user).
TORQUE SENSING SYSTEM
This disclosure relates to a torque sensing system. The torque sensing system comprises a rotatable shaft (102) having a first part and a second part, the shaft comprising a spring structure (122) between the first and second part; a first readout structure (130) connected to the first part, the first readout structure (130) comprising first position indicators, and a second readout structure (132) connected to the second part, the second readout structure (132) comprising second position indicators; a detector system for detecting the first and second position indicators and generating a first detection signal indicating respective passing times for the first position indicators and a second detection signal indicating respective passing times for the second position indicators; and a processor. The processor is configured for determining an angular position of the first readout structure (130) occurring at a particular time instance based on a detected passing time of at least one first position indicator on the first readout structure (130) and on a first relation between angular position of the first readout structure (130) and time around said particular time instance; and determining an angular position of the second readout structure (132) occurring at the particular time instance based on a detected passing time of at least one second position indicator on the second readout structure (132) and optionally based on a second relation between angular position of the second readout structure (132) and time around said particular time instance; and, determining an angle of twist at the particular time instance based on the angular position of the first readout structure (130) and the angular position of the second readout structure (132), the angle of twist being associated with a torque applied to the first and/or second part of the rotatable shaft (102).
Exercise system and method
A method for displaying archived exercise classes comprising displaying information about archived exercise classes that can be accessed by a first user via a computer network on a display screen at a first location, wherein the first user can select among a plurality of archived classes, outputting digital video and audio content comprising the selected archived class, detecting a performance parameter for the first user at a particular point in the selected class, displaying the performance parameter on the display screen, and displaying performance parameters from a second user at a second location on the display screen such that at least one of the performance parameters from the first user and at least one of the performance parameters from the second user at the same point in the class are presented for comparison.
